Thousands of cacti, with their brandished spiky armours or prickles, were the workers inside the banks. Their intimidating appearance made people's stomachs turn into knots. Fear was the veil that masked anyone's heart when they laid their eyes on those formidable-looking cactus.

Jennet gulped as cold sweat, in fine-looking tiny beads, appeared on her forehead. She eyed her husband with fear transpired in her gaze.

"My eyes didn't lie to me, right?" she asked in bewilderment. "I'm seeing cactus at the counters." She shook his body as if doing so could help her find an immediate reply from him.
