The basement in Anna’s home had a sort of scary demeanour, and even though Anna used to spend most of her afternoons there with Jessica, the room seemed new to her, it was as though she had entered there for the first time. And as she expected, there was a portrait hanged right next to her favourite pink drawing board, Jessica had bought it for when Anna turned five, she was so happy that year, and the love she had in her eyes made Jessica weep endlessly with a pitiful laugh and the longest hug to ever exist.
