Not different

“Cree?”

I whispered, we were going home but the Idoit was sleeping. I squat and stared at his face.

Maybe I was the wrong who had imagined things, he was still the innocent cutie of Quinns High.

“I know I’m handsome.” I smacked his head and rose up.

“Let’s go home.” I huffed and walked out of the classroom. He grabbed his bag and ran after me.

“You should be careful.” I said when he was close.

“Why should I be?” He rubbed his eyes, as if he was still feeling sleepy, I clunk my tongue at him.

“Didn’t you hear the news it’s all over town?”

“What news?” He furrowed his brows at me.

“Butcher head, you know. The scary stuff that happened last night. The guy who killed his girlfriend. They said he was possessed. But I don’t know that’s was it.”

“What do you think. You shouldn’t be nosy, let it be as they said it is. You weren’t those detectives.” He shrugged, with his hands over my shoulders.

“So you heard?”
