I had to cut my greetings with the bouncers because it made Rachel a little pissed, and then we walked into the lounge.
The place was so full and the lights kept changing colours, the kind of disco lights found in clubs, with the music almost deafening to the ears.
I looked around for my sister, but she was nowhere to be found, she wasn't the time to throw a party and not be there for it early. I found an empty place and went to sit there with Rachel as one of the waitresses came over to ask what we wanted.
When she noticed it was me, she quickly gave me a hug where I was sitting and looked extremely happy to see me. In the days when I oversaw the affairs of the lounge, I was a good boss to the best of my abilities, I made sure I paid on time and gave them raises in their salaries when needed. I helped solved their little issues when they brought them to me and was also their friend, organising parties for the workers alone too.
