The Jealous Boss

I went to work as early as I could, but I still felt tired from the previous day's party and I knew it would affect my work for the day.

Rachel came in 30 minutes later, looking worse than I was feeling and as our eyes locked, we began to laugh. We knew we had work, but we partied hard.

About an hour into work, Josephine called me into her office, she gave me a look of disgust when I walked in. I ignored the look, greeted her and sat down.

"I didn't ask you to sit down, did I?" said Josephine.

I stood up and said, "I am sorry."

"Where were you last night? I thought we were supposed to see yesterday?" she asked.

I put my palm on my head, I forgot all about our meeting, and now it made sense why she was angry with me.

"I am sorry, I forgot."

"You keep apologising but you haven't told me where you were last night."

"I was out with—"

"Don't lie to me, just tell me where you were."
