Chapter XI

CALMNESS

Huge waves greeted Ronn's ship as they patrolled the northern region of the country. However, the storm was brief, and the waves began to lessen as they moved eastward. They are joined by a number of whales who appear to be competing in a marine life race, singing along with their chirping. The beauty of the sky will be reflected at dawn, and birds will be seen competing for a morning full of hope, joy, and new experiences. Ronn was startled by his Buddy's call because they were close to their base's port.

The Princess became unwell ten days after the continuous search for the young soldier. But Datu's employees did not let up and eventually witnessed the young man enter the drugstore in the other town, which he quickly reported to Datu. He warned him not to look away from the young man no matter what. They summoned other soldiers to ensure that the young soldier did not flee. Ronn observed a man watching his actions and decided not to appear so he could deflect it. He proceeded straight to the market after leaving the drugstore, confident that the man would not follow him. Datu's employees followed him into the dining area and warned his coworkers to keep an eye out for the back escape.

When Ronn arrived at his tenant's house, he checked to see whether anyone had followed him. He sighed, seeing nothing unusual. He had no idea he was being followed by other Datu staff. When he heard a tap on the door of his room at three o'clock in the afternoon, he opened it because he spotted his Landlady outside. But, to his amazement, Datu's soldiers were outside, he couldn't fight because of his state, and the Landlady was still in front of him. The two went inside, while the other two waited outside.

"Are you a battalion, and I didn't get away?" He inquired of the two. But they didn't respond, and as he stood at the doorway, he noticed a revolver strapped to his waist. He could afford to put the two to sleep and then follow the other two outdoors, in his thinking. He was going to kick one when he saw its guns were already trained at him. He, in turn, approached Datu and entered. He gave the two a signal to leave the room; they were hesitant, but they understood Datu's skill, and the young soldier was still injured, so they didn't mind leaving the room.

"Excuse my personnel, they are also tired of searching, so they won't really let you leave," Datu apologized to him, who had startled him when they last spoke.

"You know, you impressed me; I didn't warn you publicly to keep away from my princess, yet you did so without hesitation." Please be patient while I investigate your identity as well as your family. "I'm just making sure, because I don't want to go to somebody who doesn't deserve my only princess love," Datu explained.

"It is uncommon for folks like you who do not pursue earthly things but practice being decent and moral. So, I realized I had no right to interfere with my daughter's romantic life. My princess is an obedient child, but I can no longer guide her in matters of the heart. Which surprised and pleased me, because I had assumed that whatever I asked of her, she would provide. I messed up and grew cynical about things I shouldn't have messed with. I tell you this because we are both males with a point of view. I was looking for you, and you know how my princess is always looking for you. Because I want to talk to you in-depth, man to man. I personally know to what extent your dignity and principles are safeguarded. To what extent can you stand up and take care of my only princess”, Datu said at length.

"I once failed in love when I was young, so I know you know that I am insensitive in the name of love, I have no attention devoted to women," the young soldier facing Datu continued. He is brave as long as he is right and he is not afraid of Datu or anyone.

"And fear is not in my repertoire," the young soldier said, "But I understand what you said the last time we talk, you just want to be a parent and defend your name, so I took the initiative to stay away from your daughter, even if it meant replicating my failure in love", assurance of the young soldier.

"It doesn't mean I deny my feelings for your daughter; I just want both of us to be able to think clearly." If Ellih believes I deserve her, she will fight for our love, but if she believes you are correct and will do what you want, I will respect that and stay away so our paths do not cross ", an honest and brave remark from the young soldier. Datu is affected by the young man his princess loves' 's decency and courage; now he understands why his daughter selected this; his princess did not make a mistake, and he knows she is in good hands and love.

"You astonished me over again; your personality shows through. Expect me to no longer dispute your love; all I ask is that you take care of our princess as we have when she was born. Go to my house because she no longer goes to the hospital and is tired of seeking you. I won't ask you to go now, but hopefully tomorrow and don't postpone because I might change my mind. My princess's palace is open for your visit. Goodbye, courageous Sir, may we get to know each other better," remarked the Datu as he exited his room, paying his respects to the departing Datu.

The young soldier exhaled a sigh of relief; he had been afraid of experiencing broken love again, and he told himself that if what he was thinking happened, he would curse women's love. When Datu returned home, he hurried immediately to the princess's room, where she was fast sleeping and the situation was dire. He approached it and massaged it, touching her hair before kissing the cheek of his daughter.

"Forgive me, my princess, for interfering with your love," he said to his sleeping princess as he kissed her on the forehead.

"May I overcome what I’ve interfered with and wish you happiness," Datu added. He stood up and exited his daughter's room. Princess Nerih Ellih clearly heard that and wanted to hug her father, but her heart was still sulking. She hasn't spoken to her father in two weeks since she has been searching for the man she desires. She was especially pained to recall that man, his sweet hug and kiss. She cried again and again till she fell asleep.

The next morning, Ronn got up early and exercised despite the fact that his wounds were still a little sore. He needed to clear his throat before confronting the adored princess again. He showered and changed into clean, formal clothing after breakfast. He stared in the mirror at himself and assured himself that he would take care of the princess as he had promised her father. When he came out of the room, he bowed and greeted a Datu staff member.

"Good morning, Sir!" he exclaimed.

"Good morning," he said. "Did you sleep here last night? Where restaurant did you eat at?" He inquired, concerned.

"Outside at the canteen, Sir. I slept in the car because the Datu requested me to come here and escort you to the palace this morning," he explained.

"Thank you, but you should go home," he added, "So I went there alone."

"It's OK, Sir. "It's as if you won't bother me anymore," he politely replied.

"Please don't call me Sir, just Ronn," he pleaded.

"It's strange, but I'll try," he said, smiling. He thought it was quite nice, but it was terrifying yesterday. They hopped in the car and drove to the princess's home. He took a big breath as they approached the gate around half an hour into their ride.

He got out of the car, and there was a maid standing in front of the door, anticipating his arrival. It paid him reverence and directed him to the third floor, where the princess's room was located. The house was so large and luxurious that he felt as though he wanted to flee, but his love for the princess won out. The maid had already left him when he arrived at the front door of the princess's chamber. He was hesitant to knock, fearful that he would not understand, but he persisted.

“Tok! Tok! Tok! He gently knocked on the princess's door. He knocked again after a few minutes if no one answered. But he couldn't actually hear anything inside, so when he tried to turn the doorknob, it was open. He entered the room slowly because it was so vast. He noticed the girl close her eyes inside the white mosquito net, which was typical of a princesses' elegant room.

"I didn't say I was going to eat; it's still early," the princess retorted impatiently, closing her eyes. "I'll just call if I'm hungry," she continued. The young guy grinned, thinking how lovely the princess looked in her nightgown. He looked at it as he neared its bed, admiring its natural beauty.

"My lovely princess, it's midday," Ronn answered. The girl was astonished to hear that icy voice; she couldn't be mistaken. Did I have a dream? She asked herself, but she didn't want to open her eyes because she was worried, she was hallucinating things.

"Don't you want to meet me even at the last minute?" joked the young man. Getting up causes the girl to turn around; this isn't a dream. She opened her eyes to see Ronn's very handsome face seated next to her. She wiped her eyes, possibly hallucinating.

"Do you think I'm a ghost and don't want me to believe?" the young man asked. The girl stood up and hugged the young man before crying and kissing him on the cheek, lips, and forehead.

"I didn't dream," she exclaimed cheerfully.

"What the heck!" exclaimed the young man, "you have showered me in saliva and tears!" The girl came to a halt without saying anything, wiped away the tears, and hugged the young man once again.

"Wow! Is that how you entertain a guest, saliva, and tears greet you," Ronn joked. The girl's kiss oppressed him, to which he responded. As soon as they left for a moment, the girl kissed him again, now gentle and she had a sensation she couldn't explain. They are both moaning in the relentless kiss of eager hearts that don't want to let go of each other.

"Wait a minute, beautiful princess, I will only offer myself after we marry," the young man joked.

"You're annoying," she said as she hugged the young man, unable or unwilling to let him go.

"Don't do that again, never leave me again, I can't bear it any longer," the princess wailed as she hugged her boyfriend.

"That's why I heard papa say, ‘I hope you two are happy," the girl explained. "Wait a minute, don't leave here, I'll be right back," the girl said as she stood up and exited the room. She went straight to her parent's room, knocked, and entered. He held his father warmly at the same time. Datu was already aware that the young soldier had arrived, and he directed the servant to direct him to the princess's room without disturbing them.

"Pa," the princess sobbed as she clutched her father. "Thank you, and please accept my apologies," she added. "Come on, darling princess, it's embarrassing for your visitor that you abandoned him. "You didn't want him to leave you, but you did," the father joked, smiling. She also hugged her mother before kissing both of them, kissing and hugging them again.

"May the next one be pure happiness, go on the lovely princess, the Knight in Shining Armor 'is waiting," the mother rushed away from her princess, who was also overjoyed because their only princess was pleased. She hugged and kissed her husband after the princess left and thanked her for allowing her to fall in love. Datu is also overjoyed. The maids prepare her favorite breakfast for her; she will recover from the food.

"I told you to take your time, I'm almost leaving," Ronn joked.

"Please try to leave me again and you will get what you are looking for," the girl's music threatened.

"It's surreal; I feel like I need to go on withdrawal," the young man laughed.

The princess remained mute, afraid to speak for fear of crying again. The young man hugged her from behind and kissed her on the nape of her neck. She turned and kissed him on the lips, and the girl grabbed the young man closely, vowing never to let go of his embrace. They both sigh at the experience, especially since they have nothing to fear or stop their romance from continuing. As they gather their breath, their kisses deepen. Flaming and searing feelings, their caress is like a flame of fire that will soon burn out. Because of the knocks outside their door, their burning desire came to a halt and evaporated.

“Tok! Tok! Tok!

"Breakfast is ready," the maid remarked outside the door.

"All good, we'll be following, thank you," said the princess. She kissed her partner once more, her lips still hot and blazing.

"Let's go!" Ronn exclaims, unable to control himself any longer. "Perhaps what they'll think of us, perhaps they'll believe you're taking advantage of my frailty," Ronn joked to the girl.

"You have a thick face, Sir!" the princess smiled, adjusting herself in front of the mirror. Behind her is her very gorgeous boyfriend, and she is captivated by his stares, especially when his red lips brush against her skin.

They exited the room and proceeded to the arranged table. Her parents were already there, having breakfast at six a.m. Because of his duties at the hospital, they only eat together on rare occasions. Her favorite breakfast was served, unsalted fish, fried rice, and coffee beans. When it was served for breakfast, her favorite cuisine was amazing. There are tomatoes, a little soy sauce, lime, and chile. As a result, those who know her grow to admire her. When he saw what was reported to be the princess's favorite breakfast, the young guy was taken aback for a while. He assumed the pricey foods were reserved for the princess. As a result, the young soldier fell even more in love with her.

"Let's eat, Sir, what are you thinking of my favorite breakfast?" the princess smiled.

"I was shocked, but considering your interactions with people, especially your housemates, I lost my astonishment," he apologized to the princess.

"It's okay because I'm a princess, I'm expected to do whatever I want, so I don't like those royal lovers." It was too late for what the girl stated; she realized the term she used was improper.

"What can I eat?" the young man taunted, causing the princess's cheek to flush.

“Crazy! "I'm suggesting that food, you think otherwise," the princess responded hesitantly.

"Why do you suppose I'm thinking?", The young man said, still smiling.

"I'm not sure about you, let's just eat," the girl said, a little smile on her face.

"What shall I eat?" The young man is engraved. The girl also laughed.

"I know what you want to eat", the girl said smiling. "If you don't eat it, I'll feed others," the girl, who was still smiling, remarked.

"No, I'm OK just eating here," the young man said solemnly. The princess couldn't help but giggle at what her boyfriend had said.

"Stop it, my stomach hurts," the girl sobbed. They had already eaten the princess's favorite breakfast since they were so hungry. They then went around the palace-like house's interior. They had a good time going around, talking, and weaving their dreams. The princess wants to meet and spend time with Ronn's family. The young man stated that it was not yet time for him to return home.

“Why? Are you keeping anything from me and frightened to take me with you? ", the girl jokingly said to her boyfriend.

"Nothing, I haven't accomplished my desire for them, for us," the young man responded quietly.

"What is the fantasy of a lovely soldier?" the princess questioned.

"Wrong, I can make them." "I want to build a big house for us," the young man said.

“Why? Do you not own a home?” amuse the princess's question.

"We have them, but they are too small for us." "With eleven siblings, the modest house is no longer adequate," he answered to the bride.

“Wow! It must have been fun to be around so many brothers and sisters, who were all loud and enthusiastic!" The princess responded enthusiastically. He looked at the princess's face, and he saw genuine delight, not just a princess's display.

"How come you're staring at me like that?" Do you want a lot of kids? "I'm game, even if we have a dozen children, as long as you're the only one I can be within taking care of and rearing our future offspring," the girl's heart was joyful.

"Can you give birth to that many?" Ronn assures.

"Why not, as long as I'm not the only one we should be together, I can't have children if you're not a helper," laughed the princess.

“Philosopher! The young man laughed. As she hugged her boyfriend, the princess burst out laughing. As the pair gazed off into the distance, the father sighed and thanked the witnesses as well as the wife. They appear relieved that their only daughter princess will no longer be an old maid. Because it was midday, their parents invited them to a dinner party at the dinner table. They discuss the two's future plans while eating. Datu simply listens silently, while the mother enjoys the pleasure of the two without hiding.

While preparing for the forthcoming wedding, the young soldier is still on duty at the Base, but his CO does not allow him to patrol, so he is only assigned to the office. He invited the Commodore and his aunt, who is his wife, as well as their five-year-old kid Felix, whom he sees whenever the Commodore visits their Base with his aunt. And he frequently enjoys playing break games, which he sometimes teaches him. Sponsors include her CO and the Commodore on his side, while the bride is in charge of the others.

They only agreed on a simple wedding; he wanted to split the costs, but the Datu refused. He called it an insult to their clan as well as the well-known Datu and clan in the area. He no longer insisted, but there was hatred in his heart as a man accustomed to their place that the man should spend everything on the wedding, he was the polar opposite in the place of his bride since the man is regarded as the crystal in the place that women should worship.
