"First day, and you're already fighting?" Ha-Eun sits next to Jaeneung who was covered in bruises and a black eye. They're both at the principal's office and Ha-Eun is the key witness.
"What else could I have done? Watch as he got his ass beat?" Jaeneung chuckles slightly. "It's okay, I'm used to this kind of injury." He rolls his sleeve down a bit and reveals a massive scar. "I got this when I was a kid."
Ha-Eun was kind of freaked out by it, it was slightly darker than his normal skin tone and it was deep. "Is it permanent?"
"Yeah." Jaeneung rolled his sleeve back up. "It doesn't hurt anymore though."
"How'd you get it?" Ha-Eun asks Jaeneung.
"Oh, I got into a fight and got hurt, nothing out of the ordinary." Jaeneung seemed unphased. He just looked straight forward.
"Well, seems like you two are ready to go." The principal walked out of the office with Connor and Jona walking behind him, both heavily covered in bruises. "This time, consider it a warning. Next time, don't get into fights you're not supposed to be in. This is a prestigious school, not a battlefield. Understood?" The principal was overweight and definitely wore a fake tupee.
"Yes sir." Jaeneung got up and bowed. Ha-Eun followed suite.
Jaeneung took his bag and started walking away. Ha-Eun just stood there. "Aren't you going back to class?" Jaeneung asks Ha-Eun.
"Oh, me? Yeah, I'll just go go the toilet." Ha-Eun says awkwardly.
"You do you." Jaeneung turns around and slings his bag over his shoulder.

Ha-Eun enters the toilet and goes into a stall, closing and locking the door. She sighs and catches her breath. She looks at her hands, they're still twitching and hurting. She reached into her bag and pulls out a bottle of pills. She opens it and takes out 2 pills and swallows them without any water.
"Hey, did you see that guy?" Two girls enter the toilet.
"You mean the guy who beat those two delinquents up, all by himself? Of course I did, he must have massive balls to fight someone on his first day of high school." The other girl replies.
"He's famous, y'know. His video spread like wildfire, it's even trending on Teatter." Ha-Eun is eavesdropping on the two girl.
"Isn't his name like, Jay? Jay something." Ha-Eun carefully puts the cap back on her bottle and places it back into her bag.
"He won the 2015 National Under 18 arts competition!" Ha-Eun has a realisation.
"Why'd he stop painting then? He didn't enter any other competitions after 2015." One of the girl turns the tap on. "Real shame."
"Well, don't tell anyone I told you this but..." The girl whispers something to the other girl, Ha-Eun was not able to make out what she said.
"He's what?!" One of the girl shouts in shock.
"Shhh!" The girl hushes her. "Don't tell anyone I told you that okay?" The girl turns the sink off and they both walk out of the toilet.
Ha-Eun takes a deep breath and opens the door. She picks her bag up and walks out of the toilet, heading to class.

As Ha-Eun enters the classroom, everyone is there but Jaeneung. He's missing. "Would you be so kind and join us? I'm Mr Lee, your English teacher." Mr Lee points to two empty seats at the back of the class. Ms Keene is also there with Mr Lee.
Ha-Eun doesn't say anything but just walks to her seat.
"Well, due to the events of today, we've had to push back our little introductory." Ms Keene seems disappointed in everyone. "Mr Lee here is not only an English teacher, but is also the head of disciplinary. He will be here for the entirety of this week to make sure you guys stay behaved, okay?"
The entire class is silent.
There was a girl sitting beside Ha-Eun, she had messy brown hair and wore small round glasses. She handed Ha-Eun a little note.
Ha-Eun took the note from her and opened it up. "What's your name?" With a little line on the bottom of the crumpled and folded piece of paper. Ha-Eun looked at the girl, she was wearing a jacket and had her hands in her pocket. She was also chewing on something. Ha-Eun thought it was weird but she went along with it anyway. She took out a pencil from her bag and wrote down 'Jenny'. She folded the paper back and placed it on the girl's table.
The girl took her hands out of her pocket and opened the piece of paper. She looked at the bottom of the page and looked over to Ha-Eun. "Jenny." She mouthed to Ha-Eun. She was chewing on gum.
Ha-Eun awkwardly pointed a thumbs up at her. The girl took out a pen from her bag and wrote something on the back of the piece of paper. She handed the note back to Ha-Eun.
"Anything you girls would like to share?" Mr Lee sees Ha-Eun and the girl handing each other notes.
"Nope. I was just asking for some tampons. I don't think you would appreciate it if I interrupted your lesson to ask for tampons." The girl spoke up and completely made Mr Lee speechless. He simply ignored her and continued on with his speech.
Ha-Eun laughed a little and looked at the back of the piece of paper. "My name is Chloe. Wanna eat lunch together?" The note read with a smiley face.
Ha-Eun smiled and have Chloe a thumbs up. Chloe smiled back and just continued chewing her gum.

"Boss, you need to see this video!" A bunch of hooligans dressed in the school's uniform came running into an empty classroom. They're carrying a phone with a video playing on it.
It's a video of Jaeneung beating Connor and Jona senselessly in the middle of the classroom while Ms Keene is standing to the side. He grabs one of the student's phone who's recording the fight. "My name is Jaeneung and I just beat these two losers up!" While he sticks a peace sign to the camera and sticks his tongue out.
"Why should I care about him?" A student is sitting on a chair, he's hidden in the shadows.
"Because sir! He's got a tattoo on the back of his neck!" The hooligan pauses the video and zooms in on Jaeneung's neck, there's a tattoo of an eye with 9 eyelashes. "It's the sign of a rival gang! The Gumiho!"
