Just as I was about to state my choice, someone interrupted me.

"No. 1023! Regular Wangnan Ja! Let me introduce myself to you!"

Blond haired guy got up started shouting with a serious expression on his face like his life was on the line. The glasses woman next asked what he was doing, but this man continued.

"No. 1023! Wangnan Ja! I've got more than just power! The era of the Ten Great Families will end with me! You won't regret it. I'm Wangnan!"

He then starts his one man show of some funny dance. This guy has some talent as a comedian.

"I can dance. I can sing. I'm the real entertainer of this era! The more you get to know me, the cuter you'll find me. My name is as I said....Waaangnan!"

He ended this dance right in front of me while I maintained an expressionless face even if I was laughing inside.

He then suddenly prostrated in front of me and started begging me.

"Please choose me! I'll do anything for you if you choose me! I'll bark if you want, I'll even lick your shoe! Please choose me!"

Not gonna lie, this is quite pitiful. So as I was about to state my choice.

"I..."

I got interrupted by another dude, but since it was Arkraptor I will forgive him. He dropped down on his knees next to Wangnan and said, "Choose me."

"Please choose me. My daughter is waiting for me."

Arkraptor said to me while having tears in his eyes. I almost believed him. He then covered his face and sighed while continuing.

"She must have grown a lot. I want to see how much she has grown."

He said to me in a sorrowful tone. Wangnan being easily triggered didn't believe the guy and even told me not to believe his story. Saying that a girl with a face similar to Arkraptor is just unrealistic, these guys are funny.

And while they were arguing, the big man himself dropped down and got on his knees. Of course I am talking about Horyang.

"Choose me. I've got to find someone."

But suddenly a little blur comes in and hugs me at my waist while crying, its Miseng of course. Good grief.

"Please take me with you! I miss my mom and dad!" Hey this is becoming a bit sus. Especially since she looks and speaks like an illegal loli.

"Ugh!" Of course that was not me but Wangnan who was panicking a bit.

"Please, Mr Viole!" Says the little girl while hugging my waist.

"That's not fair, don't cry. And get off my Master!" Since when was I your master, Wangnan?

"She's my daughter." That's a bit sus Arkraptor, should I call the authorities?

"You, shut up!"

And just as the situation was heading towards complete chaos, Miss Fabulous steps in. Obviously it's the barely legal Yeon brat.

"Stop it, you all."

She says while running her hands through her hair Tohsaka Rin style. If you don't know what style that is, don't read this fanfic. You are uncultured.

"Mr Viole, I suggest you take me as your teammate."

She says to me calmly, while Wangnan made an exclamation in the background. Well, she is the only one who made a request calmly not dramatically but I know it's not really for a good reason. She is just arrogant as hell.

"Everybody has their own sad stories. But I think we should choose based on strengths."

This girl is already trying to act chummy with me but it's fine since it doesn't really matter.

"Why are you acting as if you're already his teammate?"

Asks an agitated Wangnan.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm from the Yeon Family and I am a Fisherman. Who else is he going to choose?"

See? Completely arrogant. These Ten Families need to be shaken up soon. They just live on the success of the Family Heads, the original Irregulars and pioneers of the Tower.

"Don't overestimate yourself! You kill your own teammates!"

"Wh-what?!"

Yeah you tell her, Wangnan. Ah if I could just have some popcorn now. I have a feeling that something fun will happen soon.

"Hmph, you don't remember me? I failed the last test because of you."

Wangnan says with a smug face.

"Ugh. Are you..?"

"Oh, you burned so many people so you wouldn't even remember me."

Wangnan then turns towards me and speaks.

"Lord Viole, you shouldn't choose her! She barbecues everyone, even her own teammates!"

"Wait! That's..."

"So? Other than killing your own teammates, what's your power? Tell me!"

"Argh.."

"Hahaha, you've got no words to say? Say something!"

"You..."

"Now please leave, before you kill the rest of us!"

"B..."

"Get out! Get away!"

"Breasts..."

Oh? Interesting.

"Get off!"

Yeon Ehwa then suddenly shouted.

"I have bigger breasts! You smelly male monkey!"

You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention. I mean what was she thinking in her mind when she said that line. I almost lost my composure there for a brief fraction of a second but nobody noticed it because they were dumbfounded at this.

Wangnan on the other hand felt provoked so he decided that he should show us his dick. But fortunately, Arkraptor, Ehwa and Horyang stopped him by threatening him. Obviously it was fortunate for him because I would have actually cut it off if he dared to show it.

Oh there are no more interruptions now? Guess I will state my choice then.

"I refuse any teammates."

Everyone was dumbfounded at this but it's the obvious choice for me. All jokes aside.

"What?"

"I alone am enough, examiner."

Everyone else maintained their dumbfounded expression. Also FUG did want me to eliminate the others so I will at least try to do so if I can do it easily like this. But I have a feeling this will be refused by Love.

"The exam is for teams only. You must choose seven others."

"Is that really necessary?"

I ask him with a serious face.

"Yes it is."

He replies with a serious face in return but he fully expects me to be stubborn. But to be honest, I don't really care how I pass this Floor's Test.

"Alright, I will choose these five in front of me. And that glasses girl and that kid with silver hair. Is that acceptable?"

"Oh okay."

Love was surprised by my decision and then looked at me weirdly. Everyone else was dumbfounded again by my nonchalance but didn't say anything against me, perhaps because of my outrageous score.

He then started announcing the results of the Test.

"The winners of the second test are Regulars Jue Viole Grace, Yeon Ehwa, Horyang, Arkraptor, Wangnan Ja, Nya Nia, Goseng and Miseng."

I enter the accommodations provided by these test examiners. But I was a bit surprised that my roommate was that Yeon girl.

I started to change into more comfortable clothes while her back was turned to me. After freeing my hair, I suddenly was greeted by her.

"H-hey...! I'm going to take a bath, want to come with me? You must be sweaty after the test. Let's take a bath together."

What the fuck? Is my charm that high? Good grief, these girls.

I hope you liked this chapter. It took a bit of effort but it was all cool. Also do tell if you like Yeon so far. I personally like her but I don't know if I will make her a love interest. It really depends on the girl herself. But I have a vague feeling that it might work, their relationship I mean.

I am personally more worried about workshop battle. That will be a cluster fuck to be honest. And it's important for MC since he has to get that Thorn fragment to make path to power faster.
