Issac

Aiden was surprised when the boy appeared in front of him with his blonde hair and pinkish-red eyes. He looked no older then himself and talked excitedly, eyes shining with curiosity, "What are you doing? Is everything ok? Do you need help?!"

Aiden stared at him for a second before saying "No. We're fine, he's just sleeping."

"Sleeping? How can he sleep like that? Aren't you worried you will hurt him?" The boy spewed an array of questions from between his lips.

Aiden hesitated for a few seconds before replying, "No. This won't hurt him. Alex can sleep through nearly anything."

"His name is Alex? What's your name? What's your sister's name? Wait, that's your sister right? Are you guys triplets? You look so alike!" He suddenly paused, "Oh, I'm Issac by the way." He stretched his hand out for Aiden to take.

Giving him a strange look, Aiden transferred Alex's ankle to his left and and shook Issac's own with his right. "I'm Aiden and this is my sister Ava. Nice to meet you but we must be on our way. We have places to be and things to do, if you don't mind."

He began walking away without another thought.

Issac stopped in place for a moment, but a moment was all it took for him to catch back up.

Quickening his pace to keep up with the mysterious black-haired boy, Issac said "then we will go with you! We were going to leave soon anyways."

Aiden turned to look at his sister. {This kid doesn't look like he will give up. Plus he is live-streaming so we can't be rude or else we might give Gaia a hard time.}

Ava tilted her head to the side, {Just let him follow us for a bit. He seems nice, anyways.}

Communicating through their link, they siblings quickly came to a conclusion.

Walking down the path once more, Aiden said "do what you like."

The boy, Issac, smiled brightly again. "Where are you guys headed?"

Aiden stared at him for a minute, eyes dead and completely unamused. "…Home."

{That was a lie.} Ava said.

{And?} Aiden answers back.

For the next five minutes the boy rattled on. Aiden answered every now and then but most of the time the boy was either talking to himself or to the camera.

Suddenly Aiden stopped in his tracks and let go of Alex. Turning around, he crouched down beside the boy, poking him in the face.

"Wake up," He complained, "I don't wanna drag you around anymore!"

Alex moaned in displeasure, swatting aside Aiden's hand. "Nooo I don't wannaaa…"

"Get up," Aiden shook Alex's shoulders.

{Some kid keeps bugging us. I can tell he wants to ask why Ava won't talk and I don't want to have to explain everything} Aiden said through the link to Alex.

Finally, Alex slowly opened his eyes. {Don't do anything stupid. He's live-streaming. Don't make more work for Gaia.} Aiden warned.

A small genuine smile tugged at Alex's lips before it blossomed in full. Jumping up to his feet he said "Hi there! I'm Alex, who're you?"

Issac's eyes glowed happily: "I'm Issac, 6 years old! We go to the same school, Celestial Academy, but I'm in first grade."

"Oh wow! You're so cool!" Alex said excitedly.

Aiden was glad that Alex had decided to play nice. He no longer wanted to pretend to be happily talking to Issac- it was exhausting.

The boys horsed around for about twenty minutes when Theodore suddenly said, "young master, the Madam said you must be in your way home. Dinner will be served soon."

Issac groaned in discontent "what?! Now? Can't I say for just a few more minutes?"

Theodore chuckled before replying, "I'm afraid not. We must be on our way immediately. The Madam has something to inform you of."

"Ughhhh." Issac replied before turning to his new friends. "I have to go home now but I'm sure I will see you guys at school, so don't be sad. We'll talk soon, bye!" And then he ran away without another word, Theodore hurriedly chasing after him.

As soon as he was out of sight, Alex's smile dropped off his face.

"I thought he would never stop!"

Aiden smirked. "Your just mad I woke you up from your nap."

"Of course I am upset! I have every right to be!"

"Well I would have had to wake you up soon anyways. We're almost there."

Ava spun happily, {I'm so excited!}

The boys smiled at their sister, happy to see her happy.

Aiden smiled, full of affection for his precious little sister. "We've got a gift for you, Ava. Alex designed it and I made it."

Snapping his fingers, a white mask appeared in his hand.

The mask covered the top of her face, including her nose. It peaked into two cat ears on the top of the mask, leaving only her mouth exposed yet still providing surprisingly good coverage.

Aiden handed her the mask, "try sending some of your mana into it."

Doing as she was told, silver strands appeared along the front of the piece, beautiful and intricately placed.

"The mask can only be transformed by you. The white mask is just a normal mask while the one with the silver design is created specifically for when you sing. It will block your powers and send it back into your body.

Aiden turned slightly solemn, "unfortunately I was unable to get the materials I wanted as they don't exist on this planet. You will have to expel all the power that gets sent back into your body or else it may burst out of you randomly when it gets to be too much.

"Though that wouldn't hurt you, it could hurt the people around you if their bodies cannot stand the rapid increase in mana. You must be careful."

Ava nodded solemnly to show her agreement before running over to her brothers and hugging them by the neck at the same time.

{Thank you so much, I love it. You guys must have worked so hard on it. I will treasure it, I promise.}

Alex grinned, patting his little sister's head.

"We love you, Ava. We knew you get a little shy with talking anyways so if you need to, you can just keep the plain white side of the mask of when you get scared. If something happens while the normal mask is on then it will automatically change into the other version."

Ava's eyes widened. Naturally, through their connection her brothers were able to feel her fear of talking. They must have worked really hard on the mask… 'I should remember this for the future. I must make it up to them one day.'

Ava placed the mask on and instantly felt safe. She felt safe second only to when in the arms of her family.

"Alright, alright. We have to hurry up, we can't have you late for your first class now can we?"

Alex quickly let go, "right! We only have five minutes left! We're going to have to run!"

Ava screamed lightly, though no sound slipped between her lips.

It had become a habit at this point.

"Race ya! Put your gravity at times 25. We might as well train, no?"

Alex rolled his eyes. "If we have to…"

Ava smiled, getting into a running position.

{3…} She said.

Alex gave a confident grin. {2!}

{1!!} Aiden's voice roared through their connection and the three tiny figures sped along the sidewalk, arriving at the front doors within 2 minutes.

They stood their silently looking at each other before breaking into grins that suited their age as carefree children.

A/N

In case you are confused, any words written between {these} are words sent through the triplets' connection, something that only the three of them can hear.

The connection has many functions but the only ones you need to know about for now is the ability to transfer thoughts and emotions :)
