Swimming.

The triplets looked wearily at the pool. Aiden's usual stoic face held disgust and contempt meanwhile Ava's usual soft smile was gone as she whimpered softly.

Alex, on the other hand, just looked mad.

"Why are we doing this again?" Alex asked, "because we told Issac we would?"

Ava did not respond as she was not wearing her mask.

"We promised he could pick the place next." Aiden replied.

Alex looked wearily at his big brother, "can't we just pretend that never happened? There's no proof!"

"No. That would break all the trust we have with him. Besides, there is proof. Issac live-streamed the entire deal because he knew we might try to deny it." Aiden turned and looked at his siblings seriously before communicating thoughts through their soul link.

{Though it is alright for now thanks to our bloodline not being powerful enough, but our kind will receive backlash if we go back on our word because after a certain stage has been passed, our words themselves become law. We must be careful with everything we stay at that point.}

The siblings eyes grew wide. That was possible? Just how powerful would one have to be that their words would become laws?

"Watch out down below!!" A voice rang from above their heads as Issac jumped off the diving board and into the pool, making a giant splash, effectively drenching the group.

Alex: "…!!"

Ava: "…?"

Aiden: "....."

Surfacing for air, the boy in the yellow swimming shorts with bright pink Hawaiian flower print laughed happily.

"Hurry up! Whoever makes it to the other side of the pool last has to buy ice cream!"

Light flashed simultaneously through the eyes of the siblings.

Ava jumped into the pool without hesitation.

Alex was swiftly tripped over by Aiden before he jumped into the pool himself.

In the end, Aiden had to buy ice cream because Issac decided tripping Alex was cheating.

Whatever.

By the time they were done swimming, the triplets were throughly displeased. On the other hand, Issac dried his hair with a fluffy while towel, face full of smiles.

"Wow! That was fun, right?! Do you guys wanna go swimming again next week?"

"No!!" 2 voices and one vigorous shaking of their head was his response.

Issac only giggled.

"Issac, you have to make sure to come pick us up from school everyday." Alex said.

Issac leaned in and hugged the boy tightly, patting him affectionately on the head.

He next reached down and picked Ava up. Ava was barely shorter then himself yet Issac had no trouble holding her whatsoever.

"Be good, ok? I'll see you in three days anyways." Ava pouted slightly, pulling the mask off her face to bury her head into his neck without hurting him.

After watching the pair for a few moments, Aiden said "I'll go get us something to drink." And walked over to a vending machine nearby.

Issac chuckled lightly, patting Ava on the back and saying "I need to go talk to your brother."

Reluctantly, Ava let go.

Issac casually strolled over to Aiden, stopping behind him before reaching over his shoulders and covering the younger boy's eyes.

"Guess who?" He said mischievously.

Aiden sighed in exasperation. "Who else could it be but you, Issac?"

Issac's smile brightened. "Good job, my little kitten is so smart." He reached his head up towards the top of his head, intending to ruffle his hair.

Aiden dodged him easily. As a matter of fact, he did it so quickly that Issac didn't manage to see exactly how he did it.

"Don't touch my head." The younger boy snarled, a bit of a defensive hiss leaking from between his lips.

It was as if Issac had been struck by lightning.

He had known that the siblings were powerful but he had thought he would only be slightly behind them, if at all, thanks to the extra year under his belt.

It looks like he had been sorely mistaken.

He suddenly felt the great divide between them then had probably been there all along. A divide he had been ignoring all these years.

Issac was switching schools.

Officially graduating from the Celestial Elementary, he passed the test to begin his first year at Celestial Academy.

Because of the one year age gap, the triplets and the little ray of sunshine would be separated for an entire year.

After knowing the little dolls for 5 years, he was obviously unwilling to part with them hence they made arrangements to have Issac meet them after school whenever he could.

Grabbing one of the drinks that fell with a loud thud to the bottom of the vending machine, Issac cracked open the top and took a sip, the cold drink freezing the thoughts inside his head and locking them away to be thawed at another time.

"Let's go back to your siblings. Ava looks like she's about to cry." Issac said these words with a smile, but Aiden was able to tell that it was slightly forced.

How peculiar.

The only times Aiden had seen such an expression on the older boy's face is when he had to end something he loved doing: like when he couldn't eat ice cream anymore thanks to the cavities he managed to get.

Issac ran over to Ava, grabbing her hand and spinning her in a circle like a princess, something special that the two only ever did with each other.

Ava giggled with happiness.

Alex watched with terribly masked sadness.

Aiden's face remained as ever- cold.

Only Ava and Alex would be able to know how he was truly feeling.

Issac suddenly looked up at Aiden.

"I'm going to become powerful!" He announced with renewed vigor.

"So powerful that if I want to pet you, you won't be able to escape no matter how hard you try!"

Oh?

Aiden looked at Issac with his brow raised.

"If you say so."

Though the smile tugging at the corner of his lips was successfully hidden, his emotions could still be clearly felt through the triplets' link.

Ava and Alex glanced at each other before giving Aiden a knowing look.

"What?!" Aiden asked the two despite already knowing the reason.

Alex smirked and Ava giggled again.

Issac looked between then with confusion.

"Ignore them."
