Chapter 37

"You idiot!" Danny roared, punching Bowen in the face. Danny was furious with Bowen, how could he find himself in such a predicament. "How do I explain this to our Queen? How do I stop her from killing you two?" Danny asked Bowen. "I don't know how this happened Daniel. I'm lost without her. I thought for sure I would find her on my own" Bowen said, crying and shaking his head. "We all are hurting Bo. You aren't alone in this. You weren't supposed to abandon us like that" Danny said, sounding a little softer now. "Dan -iel. I can't breathe, I'm suffocating without my Ah'Xhi" Bowen cried. "You know she doesn't want you calling her that, Bo. I see why those two females had you drugged. You're going nuts." Danny told Bowen. "You do know that you got the girl pregnant right? You'd better hope Ah'Xhi will hear you out first before she tears you a new one" Danny said to Bowen. Bowen was frozen in place after hearing the bad news. Artemis was definitely going to kill him. He knew now how bad he had messed up. He suddenly remembered all of the times he didn't even simply touch her when she needed him the most. His cowardly behavior has cost him a lot and he would never be able to pay the price. "You can reject your new mate because of the cubs. She will have to lay the eggs first. Then you can dispose of her however you please" Danny told Bowen. "This is embarrassing. A little She-Raven was able to take advantage of me and now she's carrying my bastards" Bowen said, shaking his head. "Your father is here taking care of her." Danny told Bowen. "Great. I need to talk to him anyways" Bowen said, rubbing his head. "Kasper, Apollo and Papa Maximus still need to talk to you Bo. You're in deep shit brother!" Danny warned him, slapping him on his back. "Bowen. Your mate's mother wants to speak with you" Kasper said, coming into Bowen's room. "That is not my mate!" Bowen sneered. He aggressively hopped out of bed and oet Kasper and Danny lead the way.

The She-Raven Sarah was still chained to the wall sitting up right as if she weren't being held prisoner. Her demeanor didn't change either, she still looked mean and conniving. "Hello son-in-law" Sarah smiled as Bowen got closer to her. "What do you want, lady?" Bowen asked her. Sarah chuckled and then sighed. "I want you to acknowledge my daughter and your children." Sarah said directly. "Never!" Bowen replied immediately. "What happened happened and obviously it worked. I've had a little time to rethink and I believe this is your opportunity to come out on top" Sarah said. "I don't like the direction that you're taking this conversation. Tread lightly!" Kasper said to her, nodding his head. "I'm not telling you to stage a coup in this kingdom. I'm telling you to leave her and become the King in your Eagle Kingdom!" Sarah said excitedly. Bowen scoffed and spit at Sarah's feet. "No one in their right mind would leave their Queen for someone who needs their mother to think for them. My Queen was cultivated carefully and she is strong. Her mind and will is strong. Why would I pursue her for so long only to abandon her?" Bowen asked Sarah. "Then I will challenge your Queen on my daughter's behalf!" Sarah shouted. Everyone gasped in complete shock. It just didn't make much sense. Why would a small bird want to challenge a Wolf Queen? "You will lose! You will likely die from just one strike by my Queen, little birdy. Don't push your luck. You see it's the very Queen you want to challenge that is keeping you alive." Bowen said. Charity had been sitting quietly in her own chains. She sniffled and sat up. "My King, I really was just following my mother. She told me that everything would be okay." Charity cried."I'm sure you somehow had good intentions. But your mother has put your lives at risk and helped you make a huge mistake." Kasper said to Charity. "I will ask my Queen, my Wife, what she would like to do about the cubs you are carrying. She will not take an innocent life. But she can also get very angry. Just hope that we have bigger problems than this when she comes back and maybe we can ignore you" Bowen said to Charity. "I won't make any more problems for you, I swear. If I could take back what I did I would never have listened to my mother" Charity pleaded. "That's enough now. Don't cause us any more trouble for the time being and we will make this as painless as possible." Kasper said. " As King of the White Wolf kingdom I will not forget your disrespect. I hope you are not serious about challenging my Queen. You will never win" Danny said, finally speaking up.

After they all left Charity sat cursing her mother. "I wish I was never even born. Even before I came along you were this scheming. That's why we are outcasts in our tribe!" Charity yelled at her mother. "Don't be such an ungrateful bitch Charity. Is it so wrong to want something better for myself and go for it? Am I that terrible of a mother for wanting something better for YOU!" Sarah argued. "They could Kill me for committing such a vicious act with you! This is exactly what you did to yourself years ago when you got pregnant with one except my father was never in my life! All you do is lie and all I can do is go along with it. I am so dome with you!" Charity yelled out. Their bickering had gotten so obnoxious that the guards finally decided to separate them from each other. Considering that Charity was pregnant with Bowen's cubs they left Prince Apollo and Jenny in charge of her. Apollo quickly remodeled one of their rooms so that Charity would not have a way to escape. They put in a huge door that locked from the outside. They gave her a nest to lay in and a few fur covers, they sealed up the only two windows in the room and they also chained her ankle to one of the walls. In the end Charity couldn't complain too much seeing that she was still alive considering her offense.

Charity sat back in her nest and sighed. Her stomach was getting a tad bit bigger everyday. She wondered how many eggs she would lay and if she would even see them hatch. Charity quickly shook that thought out of her head. She really wanted to abandon the eggs and escape this Kingdom as soon as she could. "It's coming from this way!" A voice said. "I don't smell anything big brother. We should get back" a female voice replied. Charity's heartbeat started to race and she cowered into the nest as best as she could. The door opened and a man with long white hair strolled in peeking around. He was followed by a younger female version of himself. She too sported white hair and she wore the most beautiful white dress. "The smell is coming from her…" Ezekiel said, pointing at Charity balled up in the corner of her nest. "Why is she chained up in here?" Princess Eden asked. Ezekiel sniffed the room really hard then he let out a deep breath. It seemed as if that breath hit Charity and caught her attention. Charity peeked in between her fingers and caught a quick glance at the two people in front of her. "She's chained up because she is carrying Eagle Prince's." Ezekiel said, sounding disappointed. Eden's pretty little face scrunched up as she took another look at Charity. A big long white snake creeped in from behind Ezekiel and Eden. He sniffed the air as well and then gave Charity a murderous look. The snake hissed and snapped at Charity making her jump and cry. "Please no. I didn't mean anyone any harm. I didn't know he was mated to a Queen!" Charity cried out. "Step away from my mate" Exekiel growled at the snake. The snake looked back at Ezekiel in disbelief. "I mean it!" Ezekiel warned, pointing at the snake. "Let's go Billy. This is boring and I don't want to get in trouble." Princess said, turning away and walking back to the door.

When Ezekiel and Charity were finally alone he took another step closer and looked her over as if he'd never seen a female before. "Mate" said Ezekiel as he took another step closer. "I'm not your mate. I've been mated with Bowen the King Consort and I carry his cubs!" Charity said. "You females can have more than one mate. Besides, I heard that you forced your mark on him while he was drugged. You two were not destined to be mated. On the other hand it feels like it should be me and you." Ezekiel said to Charity. "We should get together. You could be my Queen, I'll keep you safe!" Ezekiel said to Charity excitedly. "I'll try to wait for the Queen Mother to come back and ask her permission to mate with you." Ezekiel said to her. "I would rather do that. Can you take me away from my mother Sarah before she gets me killed?" Charity asked him. "Behind the walls of the White Wolf Kingdom you will never have to worry about your safety again. As my Snake Queen you will never need anything. I will provide whatever you want and need." Ezekiel said to her. "What about that other female you were just with? I'm not trying to compete for someone else's mate!" Charity clarified, pointing her chin into the air. Ezekiel chuckled and shook his head. "That's Princess Eden. She's my baby sister" Ezekiel said. Charity relaxed and nodded her head. "So the Queen is your Mother as well?" Charity asked Ezekiel. "Yes. But that's a long story for another day" Ezekiel said. "Do you really think I'm your mate?" Charity asked him innocently. "I do. I think you're gonna be okay eventually." Ezekiel said, nodding his head.

"Billy, why is everyone so busy being worried about mating?" Princess Eden asked her Snake bodyguard. They were laying across her nest. Eden was laying on her back and Billy was laying on his stomach with his eyes closed. "Everybody says mother would be happy but I think she doesn't care about it that much. Mother wants us to be happy and healthy." Princess Eden said, playing in her hair. "I don't want to mate Billy. I just want to be happy and healthy. I'll only mate if Queen Mother tells me to and If I do have to mate I want you to be my mate." Princess Eden said to Billy. Billy slowly lifted his sleepy head and flicked his tongue at her. Princess playfully grabbed hold of Billy and squeezed him into a very tight and very intimate hug. "I am going to ask the Queen mother!" She said rolling around with him.
