Chapter 43

Princess Eden and her mate Billy were able to move on with their lives forgetting about the Wolf Beastmen who attacked and wounded her. Her arm has healed up perfectly with no scar and she was happy enough to not hold a grudge. The Wolf Beastmen still had to be punished though. The Snake Princess' fathers and brothers all took turns to hit each wolf at least two times. Three days later it was a forgotten incident. The Princess now lives with her mate near the White Snake Tribe and her mother and fathers are back in their castle getting the Wolf Prince's ready to be mated. Today Queen Artemis has quickly put together a party for the oldest royal Princes and Princesses. It will be a mating ceremony. She expects to gain some daughters and niece's after tonights festivities. Danny has been cooking a lot of food all morning. Bowen has been in charge of going out and personally inviting the Young Female Beastmen and their parents and even offering to have guards escort them to the castle. Even Wolf King Maximus and the Witch Doctor Yozar will come by to enjoy the festivities. After being here for just over three years now Artemis has become accustomed to the rituals of this Beastworld. If she loves her children and wants them to thrive and survive out in this cruel world the best thing to do would be to is to give them a push out of the nest. Artemis and her mates would frequently talk about it and they all agreed that this is what would be best for their future and for the White Wolf Clan.

Artemis is currently sitting in the living room relaxing after having breakfast together with all of her children. They ate a full meal and joked around as usual and then decided to hang out in the family room together. It was time for the Queen Mother to have a serious talk with them although it might seem hard to do so. Luckily the oldest Princes' were more mature now and talking with them was not so hard. "Did Princess Eden really find her mate Mother?" First Wolf Prince Christopher asked his Queen Mother. "Yes my son. She has." Queen Artemis said nodding her head. "Are you going to get Princess Winter mated too?" Asked the Second Wolf Prince Knox. "Eventually my son. You should be getting mated too. Treat your mates the way you treat me." Artemis said smiling to her sons. "I don't want to move out of the castle though. I want to stay here forever." Third Wolf Prince Walker said with a childlike tone. "You can do whatever you want my Prince." Artemis told him rubbing his head. "I want to throw a party tonight. I will invite as many females as I can and I want you and your cousins to have fun and meet these females. Find your mate or choose your mate however it happens. I want you to become the next strongest men in our clan." Artemis said to them. She had already put it all together. She had high hopes that tonight would turn out perfectly. "Tonight?" Asked First Wolf Prince. "Yes. The sooner we get this sorted the better. I want you all to look through your belongings and pick your most precious treasure and gift it to your mates. It's a tradition." Artemis said to them. "Did father give you a gift when he asked you to mate?" Second Wolf Prince asked. Artemis thought back and chuckled. "Yes he did. Bowen did as well. They both pursued me for a long time and gave me many gifts before I finally decided to mate with them." She told them. "Our fathers treat you so well and they love you so much!" F Wolf Prince pointed out. "That's exactly how I want you to treat your mates. Remember. Once the deed is done you will then be Princes' with a Princess mate. They will be just as important and your royal sisters and yourselves. As a matter of fact they should be treated as your Queen. First Prince Christopher. If something ever happens to me and your father King Daniel you are next in line for the throne. As our heir the burden falls heavily on your shoulders first." Queen Artemis told them. "Heir? Mother impossible! You must live a long and healthy life. This throne is yours!" First Wolf Prince said. "Sure I will. Still. This is the tradition. Before we became the White Wolf Kingdom we came from the Black Wolf Kingdom. It took years for the Black Wolves to get to where they are. Lots of matchmaking and lots of politics went into it but most of all tradition is what keeps us strong and thriving." Artemis said to First Prince. "But Mother." First Prince pleaded. "No buts. Beside you have plenty of time to not have to worry about taking the throne. As long as I'm alive I intend to watch my children grow old with me and meet my first grandchildren." Artemis said. The fourth Wolf Prince spent the whole time keeping quiet. He never uttered a word and Artemis eventually noticed it. "Prince Brayden? How come you have not spoken?" Artemis asked him. "I don't know what to say mother. I understand It is my duty go make you and my fathers proud. I hope I don't let you all down." Fourth Prince said with a sad expression. "You wont let us down. Ultimately if you have other feelings in your heart then by all means follow your heart. We only want you to be happy and to thrive." Artemis said reassuring the Fourth Prince who nodded in response. Artemis let out a deep sigh and patted each of their heads. "Go. I want you all to spend the whole afternoon bathing and grooming. Prince Thomas is waiting for you!" Artemis said ushering them away. "We will heed your words mother. As first Wolf Prince I will make you and our whole clan proud and so will my brothers." First Wolf said giving his mother a formal bow.

"My Queen!" Sam said running up to her excitedly. After entering the Beastworld Sam had to be taken off to train and study just a little bit more. As doctor and guardian to a Queen Samuel's skills and talents had to be excellent and Bowen made sure of that. "Samuel! Welcome back my friend." Artemis said back happily. She ushered her children off and turned back to Samuel. "How have you been my Queen? I heard the Eagle Princess was born?" Sam asked looking at her now flat stomach. "Yes. Princess Emersyn was born and she is beautiful and healthy. Thank you for taking care of us so well in the human world." Artemis told him happily. "I am so happy to hear that. Bowen has sent me with your papa John to train more. I hope I will be of great use to you and your family!" Sam said. "And you will. My children need a dedicated person like you caring after them. Of course will you be paid handsomely." She told him. "Whatever you and your family needs I am at your service." Sam said smiling. "We are throwing a party tonight. I expect my sons to find their mates tonight. Strong and healthy females and their minds must be strong as well. I will not tolerate an insubordinate female living with my sons." Artemis told him. "Yes my Queen. I will put my best effort into this." Sam said nodding his head. "Good. Today. I would like for you to stay close by as we see all of our friends and family." Artemis said to him. "It would be my pleasure my Queen." Samuel said nodding. Artemis let out a satisfied sigh and smiled.

Prince Thomas managed to spend the whole afternoon and well into the evening grooming and prepping the Princes' for the ceremony. They stood in they're room looking at each other in their fresh fur skirts. "Brothers. You look so good!" First Wolf Prince said to his brothers. "So do you brother!" Second Wolf Prince replied. "Mother is going to be so proud! She loves it when we clean ourselves up!" Third Wolf Prince said excitedly. "I hope our Princesses will love this too!" Fourth Wolf Prince said. "I hope my Princess is just like mother! " Second Wolf Prince said. "I hope your Princesses are beautiful and tough. Like your mother." Prince Thomas said to them interrupting the Princes' conversation. "Right! Mother is a great fighter and she is sensible as well! My Princess must learn to be like her!" Third Wolf Prince said. "You must remember what I showed you earlier but not talk about it with anyone else. It's embarrassing enough having you all laugh at me." Prince Thomas told them earning a snicker from all of the Princes'. "Your first meeting will have an impact on how your life with them will go. They may try and test you or try and give you a hard time but you must stay persistent and continue to court them even after you have mated." Prince Thomas reminded them. "What if I hurt my mate during our first mating?" Third Wolf Prince asked. "That won't happen." Prince Thomas said shaking his head. "But you said to let our instincts take over? Won't that put her in danger?" Fourth Wolf Prince asked. "No. When I say to give into your instincts I want you to know that the animal inside you will always be smarter and know exactly what to do if you let it. As children of the White Wolf Queen Artemis you all are naturally strong and powerful. Your instincts will be no problem when the time comes." Prince Thomas explained. "Besides mating is a natural thing for all beasts just like hunting in beast form." Prince Thomas said shrugging his shoulders. "I'm not going to talk to you anymore about this. It's uncomfortable." Prince Thomas said shaking his head. The Prince's all chuckled and elbowed each other picking on Prince Thomas. The laughter was interrupted by a knock at the door. "Come in!" Prince Thomas said after clearing his throat. The four Princes' cleared their throats as well and straightened their postures. "Brother-in-law!" Prince Apollo said bursting into the room followed by his Wolf Princes. "Welcome Royal brother!" Prince Thomas said going over to give him a brotherly hug. "We really do have some fine young men going out there tonight." Prince Apollo praised. "We sure do! I can't wait to watch our grandsons come into this world!" Prince Thomas responded. "Come boys. Let's go down to greet everyone. The ceremony has just begun." Prince Apollo said gesturing towards the door. "Are you ready cousin?" Wolf Prince Ben asked Prince Christopher. "Yes cousin. Let's go make our mothers proud!" Prince Christopher said slapping his cousin on the back playfully.

Down the hallway Queen Artemis sat with Princess Jenny and Princess Wende as they admired Wolf Princess Winter. "You resemble your mother so much Princess. Both of you are two of the most beautiful women in the world!" Princess Jenny praised. "The boys will be down there falling head over heels for you!" Princess Jenny added. "Am I really that pretty?" Princess Winter said looking down at her two piece fur outfit. "Of course you are honeybee!" Artemis said to her first born daughter. "I hope that among the young men who are showing up tonight you find one that treats you like the little Queen you are." Artemis said carefully caressing her face. "You and your three younger sister are my most precious. I will burn the entire world down over a single tear rolling down your beautiful little face. If your mate is not good to you you must let me know. A Princess should not tolerate such behavior from someone who knelt and asked for her hand." Artemis said to Princess Winter who nodded in response. "Anytime you are sad or confused you can always come back home to ask for guidance." Princess Wende said to her great niece. "I will follow your words Queen mother and royal aunts." Princess Winter said formally bowing her head. "Mother will you be finding a mate tonight as well?" Princess Winter asked. "No my dear." Artemis chuckled. "I think I have my plate full now. I do not wish for another mate or anymore cubs." Artemis said to her shaking her head. "Your Queen mother needs a break from birthing cubs for our White Wolf Clan." Princess Wende told Princess Winter. "I see." The Princess said nodding. "In that case mother I want you to enjoy your rest. Don't worry about nothing else. Just rest and be happy. You will have grandchildren running around you soon I promise." Princess Winter said consoling her mother. Artemis chuckled. "All of my children are being funny and cute today!" she said smiling. Princess Winter jumped onto her mother giving her a tight hug. "Mother!" the Princess said sniffling. "Oh honeybee. Everything will be okay. I promise!" Artemis said hugging her daughter back. "Come. Your brothers must be ready by now." Artemis said prying the Princess off of her. "Don't you still have to get washed up?" the Princess asked her mother. "Yes. Once I'm done coddling you I can take care of myself." Artemis said to her. "Oh no you don't my Queen." Princess Wende said to her clapping her hands three times.

A handful of female servants began to come in and fill the room. Artemis knew what was happening next. "Hello my Queen. We are here to serve you your bath." A servant stepped forward and said to Artemis as she bowed her head. "Will I ever get to bath in peace again?" Artemis asked looking around the room. "No," Princess Wende replied with an amused expression as she pulled Princess Jenny and Princess Winter to off to the side. Within a matter of time the servants had gotten their Queen washed up and dressed. They put her in a two piece fur outfit the same as Princess Winter and they tied her hair up on top of her head to show her full face. She was breathtaking and everyone could not help but to smile and admire her. "My beautiful Queen. You and your daughter are going to break hearts tonight." The servant who spoke up before said. "Thank you." Artemis said bowing her head to the servant. "One last thing to complete this ensemble and get the festivities started." Artemis said before taking a deep breath and focusing hard. After a brief pause Artemis' staph appeared in her hand. Now her look really was complete. Artemis reached for her daughter with her free hand and they left the room followed by everyone else in the hallway they were greeted by the Princes along with Prince Thomas and Prince Apollo.
