Chapter 50!!!!!

Hello everyone. If you have been reading up until this point I can't thank you enough for being this invested. Writing this book has been a great pleasure and I look forward to continuing this journey with you all!!

"It has been a week already royal brother. When can we go back home?" Princess Thea asked her brother Prince George. "I don't know. Whenever mother wants to. Big brother Chris has already claimed the ruins of where the Brown Lion Clan used to live and the new Lion King our royal cousin is almost finished building his small castle. We should be leaving very soon." Said Prince George. The two children were busy playing outside around some fallen trees accompanied by the two male eagle cubs. They were still small but they were covered in small white feathers and their intellect was that of an older and wiser person. They were not talking of course but they communicated through gestures and looks and everyone was able to understand them. Princess Emersyn was with her parents being doted on since shes still a baby. They had been watching as the workers skillfully put up houses and huts for the people of the Lion Kingdom. The White Wolf King Daniel and the King Consort Prince Thomas started working together with the Young Lion King to set up a few laws and regulations for the Lion Kingdom, they also gave advice and insight to getting business flowing throughout the Kingdom. Artemis advised her cousin that business brings more money and people which brings more room for growth. It could be a long and hard process or it could be quick and easy it all depends on the ruler. While laws were being put into place King Consort Bowen put himself in charge of recruiting an army for the Lion Kingdom. Wolf King Maximus and First White Wolf Prince Christopher followed Bowen's lead and stood by his side as military advisers and strategists. With the help of Artemis and her people the Lion Kingdom was off to a good start getting back on its feet.

As the little Ape Princess and Prince hopped along talking and gossiping the two young Eagles were flying above their heads being on the look out. The young eagles were able to spot something up ahead that looked unsafe so they went down to give a warning pointing in the direction they needed to avoid. "Whats so dangerous that has you two freaking out?" Princess Thea asked the eagles. "Obviously we don't need to find out sister." Prince George said to her rolling his eyes. "Well I want to find out!" Princess Thea said stomping her foot and and storming away. The Princess ran over but was careful enough to avoid falling into a huge hole. "It's a ditch!" Princess Thea announced excitedly. "Be careful Sister!" Prince George shouted as he ran over. The two young eagles rushed over as well. They all looked down into the hole and discovered two frail looking men laying down at the bottom. "Whoah!" Princess Thea exclaimed. "They look dead!" Prince George said with a look of disgust "they smell dead too" he added. "You shouldn't be here." One of the men said. "Why not?" Princess Thea asked. "We are… prisoners. This ditch was made to trap us specifically. We are Rhinoceros Beastmen." The man told them, thankfully they were wearing skirts and not laying down there naked. "I told you we didn't need to know whats over here." Prince George said shaking his head. "How come your like this now? Do you regret what you dis?" Princess Thea asked him. "I had no choice but to do it. When I am in my Beast form I am being controlled by someone else. Now that I am like this I am full of sorrow and regret. I don't ever want to be a beast again." The man told them. "You were being controlled by someone else the whole time?" Prince George asked the man who replied yes in a weak voice. "How is that possible?" The Prince asked. "It's magic! Like how I teleported us. The Witch Doctor told me a little about it!" Princess Thea said. "Yozar?" Prince George asked her. "Shhh! He might hear you and we'll get in trouble!" Princess Thea said covering his mouth. "Too late." Yozar said after he appeared standing next to her and her brother.

"Don't be too disappointed Princess. Your royal mother and grandfather ordered me to keep a watch on you for your own safety and probably your brother's as well" Yozar said looking down into the hole "you all seem to be glued at the hip. Thank goodness the baby isn't even crawling yet otherwise I'm sure she'd be out here with you all as well" Yozar said. "When the baby does start crawling I will definitely take her everywhere with me." Princess Thea said in a sassy tone. "Don't make me call your mother!" Yozar threatened. "You are more sassy than your mother you probably get it from your father. Apes are too intelligent for their own good" Yozar said shaking his head. "What have we got here?" Yozar asked looking down into the hole again. "Witch doctor, don't worry about me. Please take the children back to their parents so that they don't get lost or hurt around here!" The man in the hole shouted. "What about your partner?" Yozar asked curiously. "My brother died not too long after returning to being like this. He took his own life." The man said sadly. Yozar only nodded his head and said nothing. "He said that when he is in beast form someone else is controlling him. He regrets what happened before." Princess Thea said to Yozar. "Is that so?" Yozar asked peering down and the man. "You all should go back to your mother. I'll take over from here." Yozar said to them. "Are you going to kill him too?" Princess Thea demanded. "No child. I am going to help him out of this hole and see what I can do about this third person" Yozar told her. "Go along" he said ushering them away. When the kids were gone and out of sight Yozar squatted down to get a closer look at the one survivor in the hole. "You cant save me doctor. I am too far gone and that man is very very evil" said the man. "Don't worry about that. Once I get you out of here just focus on getting better" Yozar said shaking his head. After Yozar helped the man out of the hole he told him that his brother would be buried there and he can go back to pay his respects later. The man thanked Yozar and followed him to his tent.

Instead of listening to Yozar and finding their mother the two Ape siblings ran off to follow their older brother, First Prince Christopher and his mate Princess Lily who were currently fawning over the new Lion cubs that Queen Indigo has finally given birth to. "They're so small and precious!" Princess Lily exclaimed. "Are you going to have Lion cubs too big sister?" Princess Thea asked her naively. Princess Lily laughed loudly. "You are too curious little one. I will not be having Lion cubs. I will be having Wolf cubs with the first Prince" The Princess said happily. Prince Thomas smiled happily standing by watching his mate. 'She would make a wonderful mother to my son's' Prince Christopher thought to himself. "I would love to have children for our family!" Princess Lily said looking over at Prince Christopher who nodded in response.

A while later Queen Artemis came in to peek at her children and the Lion cubs. She smiled at the happy and peaceful scene before her. "My children you all look so happy." Artemis said to them. "Mother the cubs are so adorable!" Princess Thea said excitedly. "I know. You were also adorable when you were a newborn." Artemis told her pinching her cheeks. "I want you to see Yozar everyday to receive your training. You need to be knowledgable and prepared at all times." Artemis said to Princess Thea who nodded yes in response. "Good." My Prince, you have been doing a great job these past few days and I am proud of you." Artemis said giving him a happy smile. "We may be here a little while longer though. I'm afraid I have some bad news" Artemis said. "What happened?" Prince Christopher asked as he stood up. "Your younger Ape siblings helped us make a breakthrough." Artemis said eyeing the two Apes. "You two must be twins your always getting into something together. Did you two forget that you have other siblings?" Artemis said to the two young Apes. "We don't mean to We don't mean to mother." Prince George said innocently. "Either way that man you came across earlier has helped us answer a lot of questions. Like exactly how Blackfinger has been ruining this Kingdom and spreading his bad influence. We also know how he has control over the Beastmen that he captures." Artemis told them. "Is it bad? Will this Blackfinger retaliate against us?" Prince Christopher asked worriedly. "Yes it is bad. Blackfinger has had a grudge against Beastmen for years and he's been using evil and despicable tactics against us. He is not done. This incident here is just the beginning and he has already moved on the the next phase of his plan. He's going after the Tiger Kingdom." Artemis said to them. "Oh my goodness!" Prince Christopher said breathless. "After he plants he seed of evil and darkness there he wants to move on to the Ape Kingdom." Artemis said to them. "Mother that is terrible!" Prince Christopher said. "Yes. Im afraid that whatever he's done here he is going to attempt to do everywhere else." She said to them. "What are we gonna do?" The first Wolf Prince asked. "I have sent some messengers out to warn the Ape and Tiger Kingdoms. I have reached out for reinforcements from our Kingdom and King Maximus' Kingdom. We will need a lot more people fighting with us." Artemis announced. "I will help Papa kick up the pace in training the Lion Army. We have plenty of young and old and promising fighters within the Lion Kingdom. Artemis nodded her head. "That would be a good idea. We need to be making weapons and all of that too. They will come in handy for those who fight best not in their beast form." Artemis said. "Don't worry mother. What ever happens we will still fight together and get through it." Prince Christopher said. Artemis let out a deep sigh and looked at all of her children. "We will definitely overcome anything that is thrown at us. "Us Wolves and White Beastmen are built up on that reality. Never forget it." Artemis said grabbing them all into a big hug. "I'm going back out to check on the development of the Lion Kingdom Capital. People are hard at work and when our extra supplies arrive in a few weeks I will award them heavily." Artemis said letting go. "Can we come with you to look around?" Princess Thea asked eagerly. "You can. But if you cause me any trouble… There is no where you can hide that I wont find you and punish you." Artemis threatened making both of the Ape children nod their heads quickly.

The walk through the Capital was great scenery for Artemis and the two children. She even brought the Eaglets along too. The Buildings and workshops were being built from the ground up. There was a market starting up as well inside of the Lion Kingdom Capital. Lion Families were cropping land and building family houses and habitats. People were starting over and moving on. It made Artemis miss home and at the same time it made her more determined to take Blackfinger down. For the sake of her Kingdom and all of the others. When Yozar told her that he'd found a way into Blackfinger's mind and reported what he'd seen she felt like the entire Beastworld was on fire and the weight of putting it out fell on her shoulders and her loved one's shoulders. After Artemis and the children made it to the edge of the capital they turned back around and started to make their way back to their campsite. Halfway back Artemis could feel herself being watched and followed. Once she noticed it the two Eaglets flying overhead noticed it as well and Artemis had to stop them from taking action. If anyone actually dared to harm a Queen then they weren't afraid of death and they would be dealt with. Thankfully Artemis made it back to the campsite with her children safely. She made sure to shoot the two eaglets a deadly threatening look before getting around any of her mates.
