Trapped In Her Own Offer

When Camella left, Benjamin said "am sorry about that, camella is such a trouble" Betty replied and said "it's okay sir, I too have men who are also trouble but I don't bring them to my work place. Business before pleasure sir" she walked to his table and said again, "which file do you want to discuss Mr. Benjamin" she wanted to go home, she didn't know that a nine to five job would be a tiring.

Benjamin was surprised by what she said, is she scolding me or she is jealous of Camella. He walked to her and said "wait Mr. Benjamin? Realy, you've been calling me by my name the whole time, what are you trying to do Betty? Benjamin shook his head.

"There is a new project that has come up, we are planning to get into the baby segment, so I want you to make notes on that. Get the baby boo file" he said with a tired look.

Betty went outside to her desk and started looking for the file, she must have looked through a number of files, drawers and even trash can but she couldn't find anything. it was already past 5 p.m and most of the office employees had left only Clara was there, who was looking at betty with a smirk.

it was more than 9 minutes and she hadn't been able to find that file irritated she just left searching for it and rest her elbows on the desk. she puffed her cheeks and wondered where will that file be then she looked at the computer and search for the file but there was none.

10 minutes later the phone on her table rang "Betty what is wrong? Can you get back over here quickly"

Betty quickly searched for the file one more time and exasperated, she got up from there and entered his office empty-handed. She didn't know anything about the project and she was too embarrassed to tell him that the file wasn't there, what would he think of her capability? but the truth had to be told.

When betty left, clara sneered. She had four different pendrive in her hands all of them contain very important information about various projects and she has stolen them from the desk of Betty. Quickly she kept them in her purse and left the building.

Benjamin saw her coming empty-handed he asked "where is the file?

"The file is not on my desk..." she replied, head lowered.

He narrowed his eyes and said "okay come here the project details are in my system.

Betty went there, she stood a few feet away from him he got up from his chair and went past her.

Betty thought "is he going somewhere after putting me to work? What will I understand unless he explained to me anything? But she saw Benjamin had gone to pick a chair for her. He placed the chair behind her for her to sit, he signalled her to sit. Thinking how silly she was to conclude about him she sat on a chair and thanked him.

They discussed about the projects and she made some notes, by the end of it she was sitting on his chair and he was on her's. Together they finished it within another 1 hour, betty was very tired she yawning. She looked at him and saw that he was also very tired, he had eyes bags and looked over worked he was massaging his neck and rubbing his forehead.

Out of curtsey, she asked "do you want me to get a medicine for you?

Benjamin look at her "could you rub my forehead?

Flustered she felt trapped in her own offer "okay" she said her hurriedly and got up from her chair to rub his forehead. Within minutes she saw that he had slouched on the chair, he had slept.

Betty was surprised, quietly she left the office collected her purse from her desk and went to the underground parking so she would sneak to the road to get the car she packed. As she was about to leave the parking lot she had him "Wait".

She turned immediately to look at him "but he was sleeping" she murmured in surprise.

"Where is your car? Richard told me you took Wilson's car" he asked "yeah I packed it few blocks away from here, I want to go get it she said making an attempt to leave. Don't worry I will tell the driver to get it, we can go and have dinner and then go home together. He said taking her purse from her hand not giving her a chance to speak.

"But you have to go for dinner with camella" she said in surprise.

All of a sudden, as if Camella had heard her she called from behind "Benjamin I was waiting for you in the car. let's go for our dinner date" saying that she came next to him and coiler her hands around his arm.

Benjamin tired to control his anger, if only Camella knows how Benjamin detest her, she wouldn't stand close to him.

She sawsBetty's purse in his hand and became extremely jealous. He had never shown that kind of closeness to her, she had waited for him in the parking area for a long time and now he was standing here with her purse in his hand.

Betty raised and extended her hand to him so that he would give her purse back. Instead of giving the purse to her Benjamin held her hand and pulled her leaving a flabbergasted camella with a mouth wide open. Benjamin turned and said "I am very busy today with betty, we will go out some other time".

To Betty's surprise, he literally dragged her from there and open the car door of his Mercedes for her to step in, in front of camella and drove away with her loyally.

Camella stomped her feet "you bitch, I will see you".
