Why the murders happened?

In the forest where walking trees are everywhere.

A small hut can be seen, it was in the middle of the forest surrounded by nature.

Its roof were made with dry leaves and the walls were full of crack and holes that isn't big enough to be called a window.

"This looks like a typical hideout"

Lonnet said, Miss Lilly was ahead of him biting the wooden fence that was circling the hut.

"Don't do that Miss lilly, wood is bad for you"

Lonnet's partner couldn't find any opening around the fence so he gently put his hand on it and the wooden post broke in half, it was bent down creating a small entrance for them to use.

"Sorry" The buff man apologized and his partner lonnet pat him on the shoulder

"Don't be, like someone would willingly live at this place"

Lonnet said to his partner as he enter the fence and let Miss Lilly to wonder around the creepy hut.

Lonnet's partner was carefully moving his heavy legs over the bend fence trying not to destroy any more property.

"Come on big guy, we're losing time"

Lonnet's searched the outside hut as he waited for his partner to get in.

While Miss Lilly was circling the hut clearly presenting that there was something blood related inside.

Noticing that the big guy is taking half a minute, lonnet took a look at his partner's current condition and saw the man his hand both up squeezing himself into the small opening in the fence that he created.

"Just destroy the fence"

"I can't, this is someone else property" Lonnet's partner spoke as he squeeze his big body on the small opening resulting in the fence bending sideways to support his size.

Seeing his partner still doing his careful approach lonnet sighed

"This is no one's property, just think for a moment partner"

Lonnet spoke looking at the hut

"and If there is an owner, it must be the killer so destroy it"

"We should also burn this hut down" Lonnet spoke grimly.

"That killer shouldn't be left alive"

As he said those words his ear perked up as it picked up a sound nearby

*creak*

The sound of a wooden floor being stepped on, tracing that sound lonnet's eye met a small hole in the hut where a pair of eyes was staring at him.

The hole was pretty small so he couldn't see it earlier but looking at it a second time he saw two blue pupils staring at him.

Someone was inside the hut.

Lonnet slammed his hands on the wall making it tremble.

"I want you to go outside, we are guardians not following our word means you are against us"

Lonnet said moving back from the hole to let the one inside the house have a clear view of what he looked like.

Hearing no response, lonnet coughed.

"Your gonna go against us"

He said looking back to his partner signaling him to hurry up.

Seeing the signals the buff guy closes his eyes and lets himself through the fence resulting in it being destroyed.

"I hate fences" The man murmured going closer to the hut

"Get out or I'll destroy this place" He said putting his fist against the wall.

"Make the large guy move back!"

"I'll go out if he's far from my house"

A voice answered from inside.

"You hear him partner" Lonna looked at his partner

"I'll handle this"

Lonnet's partner readjust his fist against the wall

"Or I could just destroy this?"

"I'll handle this" Lonnet repeated.

"Let me handle this"

"No, I'll stay here" The man made his decision

"The killer could kill your brother, the strongest guardian"

"Think about it, can you defend yourself against someone much stronger than your brother"

Lonnet digested his partner's words, he took a deep breath, and said raising his voice so it would meet the one inside the house.

"No...you either meet the two of us or your house gets destroyed, this is your last chance!"

*bark!*

Miss Lilly barked at the hut making the buff guy speak up

"We just wanna ask some questions"

"Ask it, I don't need to come out" The voice replied.

Hearing it, lonnet backed away even further he signal his partner and the muscular man positioned himself.

He charged his fist into the wall and the old plank split into pieces revealing a youngster who flew from the impact.

Seeing a kid behind the wall the man lower his fist and said his voice have that hint of hesitation

"Partner, his a kid?"

Johny who flew and hit the other side of the wall coughed as he tried to stand up but the impact he experienced made him go numb.

It was so painful that tears naturally run down his eyes.

"Get out!" Johny yelled

"your not welcome here"

Johny spoke in a soft voice trying his best not to cry from the pain overtaking his whole body.

Listening to johnny's cry, lonnet steps inside the house and as he walks towards Johny the house cried.

The sound of wood being split and the floor creaking can be heard in the entire house as if it was crying and on the verge of falling.

Miss Lilly walks towards Johny.

The dog smelled his face before opening her mouth showing her sharp teeth

Johny who was still conscious at the moment tried to back his head away to create distance between himself and the dog

Miss Lilly moved forward taking back the distance between them.

Lonnet watch closely at what the dog is gonna do, the bulldog's face touched johny's cheek and miss Lilly opened her mouth giving Johny a lick on the cheek before moving away.

"So he doesn't have the blood" The buff man said in relief.

"....."

Lonnet sighed observing Miss Lilly's as she goes towards an old drawer and begin barking facing the said drawer.

"The wardrobe?" Lonnet said confuse by the dog's action.

He opened the drawer and inside were of course clothes the dog barked furiously her eyes staring at certain clothing.

Noticing it the buff guy grabbed the out of place t-shirt out of the wardrobe

The t-shirt has a large trace of blood on the collar making it look like a cloth of a murder victim.

"Partner.....give that to me"

Lonnet said in disbelief.

He has an idea of what's happening but he don't want to believe it.

He put the t-shirt at Miss Lilly's reach and the dog begins to tear it into pieces proving his idea to be correct.

The fact that the dog was only noticing Tan walker's neck and the t-shirt having blood on its collar couldn't be a mere coincidence.

Someone planned to stop their progress.

Lonnet's eyes turn lifeless as he saw the t shirt turn into small fabrics.

"No...."

Lonnet pushes the wardrobe sideways letting it fall to the ground and break into pieces.

"No way we got trick" He spoke "They must be the accomplice"

"Aaaaaah!" Lonnet yelled punching a wall in the hut it shook but didn't get any damage.

"Leave" Johny with a little bit of strength said to the invaders of his home.

"I need to protect this house....leave"

His fist bleeding lonnet took a deep breath to calm himself

"Here kid....payment for the house and for treatment" He left Johny a bag of coin before going out of the hut with Miss Lilly ahead of him guiding them toward the next destination.

"Let's continue our search....hopefully the real killer isn't far"

Lonnet said in a gloomy voice.

Leaving Johny on the wall who started to cry as the house begin to collapse.

....

At the mansion where Walker took his first life.

He raises a lamp he bought before arriving at this place.

As he saw the condition of the mansion memories regarded that day started to come back.

The corpse of the man he killed was still present, but unlike its first appearance, where he looked like a modest young man.

The one laying on the floor have white hair and a wrinkly dry face, his whole body was malnourished and comparable to a stickman figure.

The once young man has now turned a hundred years old.

The corpse on the ground was topless as Walker took the corpse's clothes the moment he murdered this person.

The head scattered on the floor were all starting to rot spreading an unnerving smell around the mansion.

The blood paint was beginning to clear itself.

This place screams of 'crime'.

The surroundings near the corpse of the one he killed have his blood absorbed by the wooden floor.

Walker doesn't have enough time to clear the evidence of him being at this crime scene as he heard from the guardians himself that the dog they have named Miss Lilly could track the killer in some way or another.

So it wouldn't take that much time for them to get here and if they did, there's no harm in being cautious.

So a conclusion came to mind

"Justice is crap, it's not my fault that I'm doing this....you guys are the ones who forced me"

Walker said to himself trying to justify the action he was about to do.

And that is to burn everything down, to destroy the evidence, all of it.

He was about to throw his lamp on the floor when something attracted his attention.

It wasn't a call or something shiny that would really attract someone's attention but something manipulative.

The strings he felt when mech was asking for his help on Hans surgery.

Those strings that control his every move, he felt them as he moved upstairs.

Walker's movement felt natural as if he has walked in the long halls of the mansion for years and have memorize all the routes and rooms.

Everything on the second floor looked abandoned the rooms have doors split in half and attached with cobwebs and covered with dust or it doesn't have any doors at all.

Unlike the old unorganized room, he passes by,

Walker opened the very last room of the mansion where the door was free from dust and was newly painted brown.

It looked new.

Click.

The door creaked open revealing a room with candle lights still burning.

Warm air escaped out of the room making Walker make an expression as he smelled something rotten worse than the corpse downstairs.

Even though the smell was trying to keep him out, Walker walked inside just to witness blood sprayed all over the room, bodies of both man and woman scattered on the floor, all of them were headless

And at the very end at a table that was kept clean was a book.

"Ways to have a contract with a God?" Walker read the title aloud and as he do so all the candles in the room were blown away.

The room becomes dark and eerie, making the hair on walker's skin stand up.

He gripped his hold on the lamp and begin to speak.

"So this is what that guy was trying to do"

"What a big evidence" Walked mused, with no hesitation he throw the lamp he have to the book aiming to burn it along with the mansion.

The fire wouldn't spread that fast so he would have at least a minute to escape.

And so he thought but the lamp bounced off the book and sparks started to eat the walls of the room.

The book flipped its page making Walker back away.

The book stopped and Walker felt it again.

The strong urge to do something as if he was being controlled.

He read the books title aloud

"Ways to return back home"

Before he could see anymore of its content the book closed and Walker took notice of the fire that has already eaten half of the room.

"A way back home"

Walker muttered surprised by what he just read.
