Bronze WINNER of WPC#322: Male Lead: Zombie Invasion

Takemi Kazuichi might very well be the luckiest and unluckiest person in the world. He was an orphan, and he was severely bullied in school. Because of that, he became a hikikomori, a shut-in. When he turned sixteen, he was adopted by a rich couple who loved him as if he was their own son. Unfortunately, they died in a plane crash, and Kazuichi never overcame his bad habits of being a shut-in, largely because of his preying relatives.

Fast forward to four years later, Takemi Kazuichi still stayed in the house left by his late parents. He never bothered going to work or going out to socialize with people. For the lack of a better term, he was a rich hikikomori. He never even bothered to check the news or log in on any social media. All he did was live his life in solitude, devoid of any human interaction.

One day, as he came out of the shower, he heard a strange thumping sound by the doorway. "That's weird, I didn't order any delivery today." He told himself before absent-mindedly opening the door.

And what stared back didn't resemble a human at all. It was a zombie— or so that's what the first thing that came into Kazuichi's mind. Unbeknownst to him, the world had drastically changed, and he was the last one to know.

How are y'all doing! Today, I have a very monumental surprise for all of you!

I finally found the time for two important things! And I know, I know, it's like so late since I started writing this novel a long long time ago. I mean, two years ago, I started this novel, and it won 3rd Place... but it took me so long to go premium after holding on to the contract for so long.

But here we are! Before you read any further, drink some water, or milk, or coffee or something, you deserve it no matter what time it is right now in your zone hehe~

Aight, first thing! THE CHARACTER PORTRAITS ARE OUT!

You heard it right! I finally got the portraits in, and now you can view what the characters look like. Then again, I haven't added the new characters but the OG characters are out! You can view all of them in the characters section in the information section of the book.

Second, I know I've already said this but yeah, premium is out. I finally signed the contract and went premium! So do expect more chapter updates every day for the next few months.

That said, I've been reading all your reviews and comments, and I couldn't believe that y'all are still keen on reading my novels. I'm glad that you're still enjoying it after all this time.

I mean, it's been two years, after all, but thank you so much! I really do appreciate it from the deepest portion of my heart.
