Inside a damp cave where only the light of a lamp can be seen, a thick dark notebook that had the symbol of Khaenri'Ah at the front can be seen alone in the darkness. As for its title, a shadow is currently blocking it.
Soon, from the darkness, emerged a man clad in darkness. He was very tall and had blonde hair, and seems to contain a mysterious feeling around him.
The left side of his face was covered by a mask, but his eyes were as blue as the sky— with a four-pointed star as a pupil.
The man then sat down on the ground and picked up a pen inside the notebook. He began writing.
"The gears of fate are turning, and the machinations are moving."
"Although Teyvat is currently at peace and the other starborne twin has not yet awakened, it seems that another important gear has appeared."
"Descenders do not belong to this world. That is what my previous traveling companion had once said, and I couldn't help but agree with her."
"Living within the hordes of sheep, lies a wolf that loves to act and play in front of his prey."
After writing this, the man then began sketching the body of someone. The said person that was sketched was quite tall and had brown hair, everything looked normal around him with his Geo Vision being the exception.
After sketching the person, the man with blonde hair placed a quote below the sketch.
"Everything went according to what I had foreseen."
He then began to write more in the thick notebook.
"No matter who you are, in Teyvat, the stars would always have a place for you. That saying is very common in this world."
"Yet the enigmatic Albert seems to be defying such saying."
"When the constellation aligned and he has been bestowed of his very own place up in the sky, Albert began his trickery."
"On the surface, Albert seems like a rather fragile yet capable civilian that has a geo vision. On occasions, he would even help out other people with his power to the best of his 'capabilities'."
"But I know him well, for I have studied him for months."
"Don't underestimate me, assassin." The man scoffed. "Just because you can hide, doesn't mean you cannot be found."
[Normal attack]. The man wrote this at the top with an underline.
"When attacking, Albert primarily uses his Geo Vision in combat." He started listing Albert's fighting style. "Although it may not look like it, Albert's pocket watch-like Geo Vision acts as a catalyst for his powers, often using it to conjure weapons from the ground or in his hands."
"Although Albert is a catalyst user, like the enigmatic detective from Inazuma, he prefers to use blades in combat when he is under his fake persona, giving him much more freedom to move and dominate his enemies via close-quarter combats."
"It was also shown that is quite skilled in various attack methods such as throwing knives and archery, albeit he barely uses them."
[Elemental Skill]
"When Albert uses his Geo Vision, he can materialize blades from the ground, in his hands, or mid-air."
"He calls it 'Age of Babylon.'." The man then drew Albert with various swords and chains coming off from the ground around him.
"Albert would often summon various blades formed with the Geo Element from the ground or in his hands; ranging from daggers to polearms, to even a greatsword, and launching them to his enemies."
"As of late, he is only able to conjure up to fifteen weapons at a time."
[Elemental Burst]
"Regarding Albert's elemental burst, even to me, is an enigma." The man sighed. "This is because he had only used it once in the forest and never again."
"With what I've gathered, Albert seems to be able to break the space behind him to summon countless rippling golden voids from which countless blades would come out of."
"It is estimated that the number of blades summoned can even overpower the wolf in the north."
"Like his Age of Babylon, Albert seems to call his elemental burst 'Gate of Babylon'."
After writing, the man put down the pen he was using and caressed his chin as if contemplating. He then picked up his pen and continued writing.
"When Albert is at a party or around other people while fighting, there is a minuscule chance that the other party members would benefit from his stealth and would temporarily gain the ability to conceal their presence."
"When Albert unlocked more of his hidden talents, he was able to communicate with an eagle which he can use to survey the land or act as a watch out."
The man soon started slowing down his writing, putting in some tactics of which how Albert would fight and how other party members around him could help by using elemental infusions and reactions.
At the end of the report, the man left his own commentary.
"The world of Teyvat is vast, and many unexplained events could occur anywhere."
"But this man... is very enigmatic. Seemingly coming out from nowhere to suddenly forming his own organization which is scattered throughout Mondstadt..."
"I am currently staying in Mondstadt due to the rise of Abyss activities in Brightcrown Mountains and had the chance to see such talent here."
"If the day that man chooses to use his strange abilities to help or otherwise join the Abyss Order, then even I would have to unleash 'that'."
"With this new chess piece being placed, I wonder how the heavenly principles would react?"
"...Or rather, will they even react?"
After writing that, the man stopped writing and slowly closed his notebook. When the notebook slowly closed, some of its other contents were exposed which showed a lot of people including Archons and some other abyssal beings.
When the book fully closed, the title of the book finally revealed itself.
"Collected Miscellany."
