Chapter Two

Chapter two

As the queen and her entourage, my besties and I, strutted down the walkway, our confident stride was abruptly halted by two imposing figures. Blocking our path stood two dominant alphas, their chiseled features and piercing gazes exuding an air of superiority. 'Oh no, it's the Pinewood princes!' Josh, my omega bestie, whispered urgently, his eyes wide with alarm. 'We should run!' he cried, his voice trembling slightly, as if sensing the primal power emanating from the two princes.

The two spoiled and arrogant Pinewood Princes, notorious for their haughty demeanor, blocked our path, their eyes gleaming with a sense of entitlement. 'Oh no, we should run!' Josh, my omega bestie, exclaimed, his voice trembling with fear. He was terrified of the alphas, and rightfully so - only God knew what mischief they had in mind. Their reputation preceded them, and we knew that crossing paths with the Pinewood Princes often led to trouble.

'How many princes are there in Pinewood, anyway?' I asked, my tone laced with sarcasm. It was no secret that the alpha king of Pinewood was a notorious ladies' man, prioritizing pleasure above all else. His numerous mistresses spanned the entire Heather Lands, earning him a reputation as a veritable sex god. As a result, he had sired countless illegitimate children across the continent, but only a select few were privileged enough to reside within the palace walls - like the two alphas currently blocking our path, who were likely among the king's many sons."

Sierra burst out laughing, loudly proclaiming, "Hahaha, you're a clown!" to ensure everyone within earshot caught wind of our exchange. Her bold move was a clever tactic to intimidate the two alphas blocking our path, making it easier for us to pass through without a fuss. Unlike Josh, Sierra remained relatively unfazed, her beta status rendering her less of a target for alpha harassment. Moreover, she trusted me implicitly, knowing I'd never let harm come to her or Josh. And why wouldn't she have faith in me? After all, I was the mother fucking queen, and I wouldn't let anyone push us around

"Charli, are you making a joke out of this?" Josh asked, his voice trembling as he shivered beside me. I knew he felt intimidated by the two arrogant alphas, and it infuriated me. I despised how alphas bullied others with impunity, exploiting their power and getting away with it. This situation was a perfect opportunity to teach them a lesson! I couldn't understand why wolves couldn't choose peace over dominance and aggression. They were so vile, vicious, and greedy. Not all of them, of course - exceptions like my sweet bestie Sierra proved that. Sometimes I wished all wolves were as kind and gentle as her; life would be so much better for everyone.

"Josh, it's okay, relax," I soothed, stopping in my tracks to gaze into his worried puppy eyes. I gently pulled his face towards mine, our lips almost touching. The surrounding crowd fell silent, mesmerized by our intimate moment. It was as if we'd become the stars of a captivating TV drama, with everyone eagerly anticipating our next move. They watched with bated breath, curious like cats, wondering what would unfold next.

I leaned in, my lips brushing against Josh's as I unleashed my vampire powers, hypnotizing him with a gentle yet firm grasp. Under my spell, he was completely entranced, his mind surrendering to my control. I couldn't risk letting him roam free amidst those alpha predators, unsure of their true intentions. Perhaps they targeted me specifically, seeking revenge against the queen who dared to be different - a vampire, not a wolf, and an omega at that. The absurdity of their potential motivations only amused me, but I wouldn't underestimate their malice.

"Follow me," I commanded, leading the way with Josh and Sierra trailing behind. As we approached the alpha males, the surrounding crowd froze, transfixed by the unfolding drama. It seemed that others' misfortunes made for captivating entertainment, a morbid fascination that allowed them to revel in the spectacle, even as someone's life hung in the balance. I locked eyes with the two alphas, my gaze conveying a clear message: 'Move out of my way.' Without hesitation, they parted, granting passage to their queen. The crowd's anticipation was palpable, but I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of a show.

The crowd was stunned, their expectations of a dramatic showdown thwarted by my effortless handling of the situation. Disappointed murmurs rippled through the onlookers as they realized there would be no further confrontation, and they reluctantly dispersed to resume their activities. However, just as Josh and Sierra passed by the alphas, the latter refused to back down, their eyes gleaming with a lingering challenge. It seemed they weren't ready to concede defeat just yet.

One of the Pinewood princes deliberately released his pheromones, which clashed with Josh's omega scent, sending him into a frenzy. As I had anticipated, Josh lost control, his behavior becoming erratic. I quickly realized that he was in heat, and his pheromones had attracted the alphas, drawing them to us like magnets. The two princes had been bold enough to confront us, while others merely followed the scent. But Josh wasn't the only one affected - the alpha's pheromones had a ripple effect, causing all the omegas in the vicinity to misbehave. Their mates, mostly possessive alphas, grew angry and agitated. Even some betas struggled to maintain control, though they fared better than the omegas.

Realizing Josh was their target, I knew the alphas intended to exploit his vulnerable state and claim him in the nearest bathroom. The thought of Josh being taken advantage of while in heat, potentially leading to a regrettable mistake, was unbearable. I couldn't help but wonder why Josh had come to school in the first place, knowing he was in heat. He should have stayed home until the cycle passed, avoiding this precarious situation altogether.

"I knew I had to act fast to save Josh, as the two male alphas were already dragging him towards the bathroom. And then it hit me - they were in rut, too! No wonder they were so relentless. It's notoriously difficult to control an alpha in this state, their primal instincts taking over. I steeled myself, knowing I had to do whatever it took to protect Josh. As the queen, it was my duty to intervene in this precarious situation.

"Hey, stop it! Let him go!" I commanded, my voice echoing through the hallway. The prince sneered, "Want to join the party, Your Highness? We're feeling quite...frisky." His brother chimed in, "Yes, the queen in heat - what a delicious fantasy! I'd love to knot that tight ass."

I seethed, 'In your wet dreams, you pathetic excuse for an alpha!" I swiftly intervened, pulling Josh away from the first prince, who was practically devouring him. Sierra rushed to assist, holding Josh firmly in place as he struggled, still under the influence of the alphas' pheromones.

I took a bold move, slipping my hands into the brothers' pants, grasping their knots firmly with one hand each. They moaned, craving more, as I began making out with both of them simultaneously. Josh, still under the influence of the alpha pheromones, grew agitated, struggling against Sierra's tight grip. 'What's wrong with you? Jealous bitch!" he shouted. "You could've just told me you wanted some! I was willing to share, but no, you had to have them both to yourself!" I ignored his outburst, knowing the pheromones were driving his behavior.
