Isaiah, Vivian and the two prisoners were able to make out.
"How come you can open the cage without the duke's key?" Vivian asked as soon as they made it out from the cage.
"I simply learned about it." Isaiah simply answered. Vivian wanted to ask more but she chose not to do it anymore since idle chats would waste any time that was left to them before the duke returned.
Isaiah walked to the wall at the back part of the room. The walls inside this hidden room were made of bricks. Then he started touching it one by one as if he was looking at something specific. He finally stopped at one brick that still had no difference with the other bricks.
He pushed it, and the walls started to break into two. Revealing a secret hallway.
"This will lead you to the kitchen part of the mansion." Isaiah explained.
"To think that there will be another exit aside from where we walked before…" Vivian nodded her head. "Then let's head out now. We need your cooperation for this, so please guide us out here now, young master. Once we are able to reach the kitchen, we can proceed with the second part of our plan."
"You, being a distraction…" Isaiah looked at Vivian with a sour face.
"I told you before, you are the only one who can guide everyone here out since we don't know the entrance and exit of this place. Also, another thing here is I'm invisible. As long as I don't say a word, no one can see aside from the three of you. And if I don't encounter any of that strange magic the duke did before at the door of this place."
At Vivian's last words, Isaiah seemed to want to ask something, but chose not to. Though, Vivian had the gist of it already. He probably wanted to ask how Vivian was not able to be detected by the duke despite passing that magic detection door.
"I will be fine."
'If this is reality of course it is not fine. The main reason why I'm feeling this strength within me is simply because I can't actually die or harm in reality even if I do the craziest things here.' Vivian thoughts that remained unsaid. ' I feel immortal in this world that's why everything feels like there's nothing to worry about if I die multiple times.'
"I will just break some glasses here and there, while everyone makes their grand escape to distract everyone. Ah, one more thing, can you give me that dagger?" Vivian turned to the girl prisoner. "I might need it for distraction as well."
"Of course," the girl prisoner reached for Vivian, which the latter accepted.
"Thank you, now for the third part of this plan, remember the time. I can't distract everyone with that much time, so use it every time you get out of this place. Young master, let's go now."
With that said, although Isaiah found something amiss with Vivian's plan, this was the only thing that he could do right now. If they dilly dally more, once his father, the duke returned there was probably a high chance that he would surely kill these two prisoners now.
With that said, they made a run out of the secret corridors. As soon as all of them entered, the walls closed in an instant. Torches lit up one by one to light the way. Although a bit startled at the sudden closing of the walls, the two prisoners only faced forwards, fearful to let loose of the sight of the two people they were following.
They ran like that for a couple of minutes, until they finally reached another deadend. It was another wall. Isaiah raised his right hand to halt everyone.
Then he touched the wall. Soon the walls break into as well again, revealing what Isaiah said before.
The kitchen of the mansion. Since it was night time already, there were no servants that could be seen already. Perhaps they were already resting in their chambers. Though vampires were supposed to be active on the night.
That was not the case at all in this game. Since they pretty much act like normal human beings aside from the fact that they fed on blood. And they were still higher than humans based on strength and sorcery magic.
But since Isaiah brought them here as well, it seemed he was sure that there would be no people here.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go now. Lead them out now, I'll stay here to create some more distraction so you can get out."
"I will return once I get them out of here." Isaiah said with a scowl. "Let's go." He gestured with the other two prisoners and the two just simply nodded their heads as a sign of understanding.
"Remember, young master, no matter what happens, prioritized these two to get out of here."
"What do you…" Vivian pushed him out of the door. "Go now…"
Isaiah looked at him with a conflicted gaze before turning away. "Don't do anything stupid."
Soon, the three of them ran out of the kitchen while Vivian followed them with her gaze. The two prisoners glanced back at her one last time, which the latter returned with a single wave.
When they were no longer at Vivian's sight. She walked to one of the torches in the kitchen.
"The best diversion," a grin escaped her lips… "First is starting a fire." She lit the curtains of the kitchen and immediately spreaded fast.
"Second," she glanced at the dagger she had on hand. Then without a moment of hesitation, she sliced her left wrist. "The strong smell of fresh blood coming out from flesh."
Vivian threw the dagger on the ground then she removed the invisibility ring. "With these two, the others would not be able to smell the blood of those two as they made their grand escape."
'In reality, I actually dislike doing so many things for others. Maybe I am too selfish for my time but that is who I am and I do not feel sorry about that. That is why I am thankful that this is just a trial.' Vivian thought as she watched everything burn. Her blood continuously dropped down on the floor.
