Desires of the heart

"I love you Desiree.... really I do, I don't know how but I know I love you and I wish to know you more beyond this ".....

"But I would understand if you don't like me.... like I've not been responding to you from the on set, I-am really a shy type.... "

It was as if time stopped, I stood like a statue unable to breath, I was just staring at him . I don't even know what to do or say... I was beyond words... like they've all escaped my mouth.

Now let's get this, I really like Leo but you know, I won't stay long here very soon we would all return back to Texas and I won't be with him anymore.

I learnt so many things about him from the short time we spent together.

I told him I would give him a chance, we talked and talked about ourselves till i got exhausted and lean on his shoulders. later we went to look for my brother and found him with other teammates in a circle of feast.

"Hey Leo, where have you been with my sis "? my brother asked standing as soon as he saw us coming.

"Chill man, I took your sister on a little tour round the field, isn't it good Desiree? "

"I just smiled and replied yes. my brother looked at me and tentatively and wincked.

" I hated that his wicked smile I said to my self "

We joined the party, all along leo's hand never left mine.

I felt sleepy that I rest my head on his laps and played dead.

My aunt's husband and my dad decided to throw a party in honour to my brothers victory.

My mom said I could invite some of my friends from my music class, though I've got no friends I just said yes.

My brother invited his two friends, Leo and Carlton.

"Desiree.... desiree "Kara called jugging into our room with smiles all over her face.

"Yes... yes "_

"Oh my, desiree.... he's so handsome.... oh my goodness "...

I was speechless looking at her

"Excuse me Kara, who in person are you talking about? "

"Your.... ehm -sorry.... I mean Leo "

We burst out laughing together until I practically fall into the bed.

"You've gone nuts young lady ". I said getting up to put on my dress.

I couldn't stop smiling all through the party as I sat close to Leo.

Kara sat at my left while Leo at my rigth and my brother sat next to him, Carlton sat close to my brother and jasper sat next to Kara, my dad at the other end, my mom close to him and my aunt right next to my mom.

That was how we sat together under the cool light of the night chatting and laughing.

"Desiree honey..... please sing for us, you know its been long you've sing ". my mom said.

I was just staring at her until Leo whispered something to me. I turned to look at him and I got the courage so I start to sing this my favorite song.... 'The blossom flower '...
