Jason's POV
Her eyes are wide in surprise and she is struggling to make out the words...I kneel in front of her and take her hands in mine.
Jason: Sarah, what's wrong??
Sarah: Nothing I just... was thinking about the song.
Okay, that I didn't expect.
Jason: What about it?
Sarah: It's sad, isn't it?
Jason: Why do you say that?
Sarah: The woman who is singing... she is somehow caged! Her happiness and her love depend on the pity of someone else...
I know that she is changing the subject because she doesn't want to talk about the auction but the way she is thinking amazes me.
Jason: I never thought of it that way.
Sarah: Sorry, I darkened the mood, didn't I?!
Jason: Not at all. You don't have a reason to apologize.
Sarah: Thanks.
She whispers and I can't resist but squeeze her hand not expecting what she'd say next.
Sarah: You are a good man, Jason.
Jason: You think so?
I challenge with a wicked smile. She doesn't seem to care.
