CHAPTER 26

Miriam had agreed to take a few months' hiatuses from work to care for her son. Being hard on the child wasn't the best and she had conceded to shake off those bad experiences away and concentrate on her son's well-being

It had become a routine for Carlos to stop by at Miriam's residence to play with Henry in his leisure time and that had opened up a charm for the little boy to ask for Carlos. Carlos loved that he had to visit because it made him Alive and happy.

"Carlos, I can't stop thanking you enough for always being here for Henry," Miriam said, staring at her toddler. "Miriam, would you stop thanking me, I love it here, and doing this was something I do willingly without expecting some gratitude," Carlos said.

"You shouldn't feel so unhappy that I'm thanking you, you have done so much for me and my family, and saying thank you is the only thing I can say to show that I'm grateful for the kindness you have shown toward us," Miriam said, rubbing her arms together.
