"I had a husband before I had a boyfriend!" Autumn blurted out, while the other two girls stared at her, wondering what she was talking about.

"Did a random guy propose to you?" Ella asked her with raised eyebrows.

"The man I met the last time we had a night out, uh? We had a good night and all that, and when we woke up the next morning, guess what I saw?" She didn't wait for them to guess before she said it herself. 

"A signed marriage certificate between both of us!" She exclaimed.

You must be joking!" Ella exclaimed in shock.
How in the world did that even happen?!

　　"Tell that to my face," Perry ordered, and she turned around slowly to look at him.


　　Both of them stared into each other's eyes. And for the first time since Gloria, he could swear that he felt his heart race. 


　　Being with Autumn a lot these days, he had stopped remembering Gloria, and it was like he had gotten over her. 


　　He wasn't ready to admit it yet, but he knew he felt something for Autumn already and a side of him told him that she felt the same.


　　"I said I didn't see your texts, is there anything wrong with that?" She asked him with a serious look on her face.


　　He stared at her without a word, and his eyes began to notice all the little details he never noticed about her before. 


　　He looked from her hair down to her eyes, then down to her lips. He felt his heart skip once again and he suddenly looked away without saying anything.
