Chapter 10 - ANYONE COULD BE a GOOD FRIEND(6)

It's Monday morning, Juliet was up to order a taxi but Zoe stopped her from making the call.

Zoe: "I've made an order Juliet."

Juliet: "When was that?"

Zoe: "A few minutes ago."

Juliet: "You know it's Monday, don't put up a prank."

Zoe: "I can't do that babe."

They dressed up and walked out of the building. A vehicle has been waiting. The person in the car horn to let them know that has been waiting for them.

Zoe: "Look who is here!"

Juliet: "Who?"

Zoe dragged her close to the vehicle.

Juliet: "Gosh! Are you here to ruin my day like you did the other time?"

Robinson: "Nope, I've never done that and I'll never do that. Please, let me give you guys a ride today. I'm also going that way, please."

Juliet moved to a side to talk to Zoe.

Juliet: "Zoe, where is the taxi you ordered for?"

Zoe: "I realized that the order didn't go just now." (She looks worried)

Juliet: "Zoe, is this your plan?"

Zoe: "What plan Juliet! I didn't plan anything. The network did this!"

Juliet: "Fine then, Let's walk!"

Zoe: "Walk home or to the office? You better let's follow Mr. Robinson before we're served a query.

Juliet and Zoe moved close to the vehicle and asked Robinson to open the vehicle door.

Zoe: " What a nice car!"

Juliet: (Frown face), "Yeah, it is."

Robinson: "Thanks."

Zoe: "Mr. Robinson, thanks for saving us this morning."

Robinson: "Don't mention."

Juliet looks out of the windows. She was quiet.

Zoe: "Babe, why are you so quiet?"

Juliet: "What do you mean? Should I be shouting and jumping in a stranger's car?" (She frowns at her)

Zoe: "Hmm, okay."

Robinson: "Juliet, thanks for entering my car." (He smiled)

Juliet: "Hmm, there's nothing special about that; thanks for the ride."

Robinson: "You're welcome."

Everywhere becomes quiet in the car as no one was talking. Juliet noticed something in the vehicle and asked questions.

Juliet: "Sorry to ask, are you a doctor?"

Robinson: "Yes, any problem?"

Juliet: "I saw some kit and that's why I asked."

Robinson: "Okay. I've owned a private hospital very close to your place of work."

Juliet: "Really?"

Robinson: "Yes."

Zoe coughed out to remind them that she was in the car too.

Zoe: "It's all good now and I'm left out of the conversation." (she smiled)

Juliet: "No one stops you from talking crazy girl."

Zoe: "I see."

Robinson starts an interesting story.

Robinson: "Do you know that I hate my profession back then?"

Juliet and Zoe: "Really, why?"

Robinson: "Because I don't like being injected or taking drugs."

Zoe: "You're Juliet's second! She hates injections." (She was blushing)

Juliet was feeling shy.

Robinson: "Is that true, Juliet?"

Juliet: "Somewhat true. I don't like taking injections but I manage to take drugs most time."

Robinson: "There's nothing wrong in taking injections as they work faster than drugs."

Zoe: "My parents used to say that and I've told Juliet countless times."

Juliet: "Zoe used to say that but I don't like seeing needles at all. I hardly fall sick as I'm always careful about my well-being. How did you become a doctor then?"

Robinson: "It is a long story that will need to be told some other day as we're now in your working place."

Juliet: "O my! I didn't know we were there already."

Juliet and Zoe alighted from the car. They thanked and bid Robinson goodbye while he did the same thing.

Juliet: "I think Robinson would be a good guy."

Zoe: "What a remark!" (She laughed and rushed to the front)

Juliet: "Naughty girl."

They both entered the company gate smiling.
