All were inside the van trying to figure out what the FBI wanted. Why were they interested in the bodyguard? Why did they want to rob the drugs inside his pocket? Why did he keep a small packet of drugs in his pocket? What was happening? How was everything interlinked? Journee's brain was working overtime trying to figure out answers to every question.
"I bet you, this is what Harris is about to steal," pondered Journee.
"Drugs?" Jack joined in the conversation.
"A sample of drugs can do wonder. You can compare the sample with the distributors and determine the suppliers involved with the Hall family. We can raid a lot of suppliers, it would cripple the drugs business," explained Trevor.
"How could I be an idiot? That's the FBI's plan," shouted Journee and facepalmed.
"FBI?" screamed Trevor.
"Harris is FBI," she pointed at the screen and showed him, Harris.
"No, no, no, no other Law agency is allowed to be there today," shouted Trevor.
"Maybe the FBI didn't get the memo," taunted Journee.
"FBI never said that they were interested in the Hall family. They never approached us for inter-agency cooperation," Trevor was distraught and angry. "They will destroy our mission," he clenched his fists.
"Sort that out later. For now, I am getting that pouch," announced Journee.
"How?" asked everyone simultaneously.
"Time to bring in my charm," smirked Journee.
"What now?" Jack rolled his eyes.
Without explaining at all, Journee started unbuttoning her red shirt revealing her pastel red bra.
"What the hell are you doing?" shouted Henry and Trevor. The It team too averted their eyes but not Jack. He kept smiling at Journee.
"You were talking about this charm?" smirked Jack.
"Have you learned nothing from spy movies? They are sexist, true but it gets the job done," educated Journee. She tied the bottom corners of her shirt into a knot showing her cleavage and her toned abs. She removed her hair tie and let her hair flow freely. "Is this, okay?" she asked Jack.
He kept chewing the inside of his lower lips and glanced at her from top to bottom. "Your trousers, they give a professional look," he commented. "And tame your hair a bit."
After receiving his feedback, she lowered her head and threw her hair in her face. She rubbed her hair vigorously to add more volume and lifted her head with a jerk. She ran her fingers through her hair to get rid of the ponytail bump. Then she paid attention to her trousers. She removed the stitches from her trousers and exposed her legs to her knees.
With the help of a stapler, she pinned up the ends of the trousers sealing the ends. It looked shabby but it was enough to get the work done.
She removed her heels and threw them in the van. "Now, I want you to chase me," ordered Journee to Jack.
"Excuse me!" Jack was confused.
"Playfully, idiot! You are playing my boyfriend," explained Journee.
"Finally!" he folded his hands in namaste and looked up to heaven. Journee flicked his forehead hard and brought him back to the land of the living. "Ouch!" he complained.
"Open a few buttons of your shirt, dishevel your hair and take off your shoes," commanded Journee.
"What?"
"You look like a law officer. We have to make you look casual. We are here to enjoy a picnic, got it?" explained Journee.
"Right, got it," replied Jack and obeyed her. He opened a few of his buttons showing off his beautiful chest. Then he ran his fingers in his hair and made them look like he was in a trainwreck. He took off his shoes and was ready to receive further instructions from Journee.
"Trevor, keep an eye on everything. Henry, go and stop Harris. IT team, I want every recording. If you miss even a second of it, you will have to deal with me," threatened Journee.
"Yes, ma'am," replied the IT team. Henry and Trevor nodded at her.
"Let's go, Jack," she ordered and jumped down the van. Jack followed her. She cracked her neck and was ready for the mission. She wanted the pouch at any cost. Henry got down from the van and moved in the direction of Harris after wishing them good luck. Journee and Jack nodded at him.
"Follow my lead," commanded Journee and started cackling loudly.
"I have to laugh like a witch?" interrupted Jack.
"You idiot! I am giggling like a maniac who is in love," replied Journee. Jack slapped his forehead loudly and shook his head in disappointment.
"It is a good thing that you were never in love. Your boyfriend would run away after listening to your cackle," taunted Jack.
"Oh! And you are an expert in falling love?" she pouted.
"Of course, I am. I fall in love every other day," he replied. "Now, pretend I told you a joke."
"Ha-ha," Journee tried laughing normally.
"It's not great but will do," Jack sighed.
"Great!" Journee rolled her eyes. She started laughing and ran towards the area where the Hall family were having a picnic. Jack took a few seconds and started running after her laughing loudly and calling after her.
"Darling! Come back, give me a kiss," he shouted.
Journee kept looking at Jack, laughing and kept running forward. She mapped her path carefully and at first, kept avoiding all the lieutenants of the Hall crime family, but she stumbled purposefully near Archer and threw herself at him.
All were staring at Journee and Jack as if they were idiots. In everyone's defence, Journee and Jack were acting like idiots. Running and laughing and teasing each other, bumping into strangers, disturbing their family time made them look like idiots in love.
A few people smiled at them, and some rolled their eyes. Some even commented that they should find a room as kids too were playing in the park.
Archer was standing near all the food silently. It was known to everyone that he was guarding the drugs hidden inside the meat, vegetables and water coolers. But suddenly he heard an awkward laugh and a beautiful girl in red landed in his arms.
His hands fell over her smooth waist. He wanted to look at her face, but her face was covered by her hair. He got a gut punch. He thought that he might know this girl but then the girl removed her hair from her beautiful face and showed her pearly teeth.
This was the first time, Journee was seeing him up close without a mask. He was extremely handsome, her type of man. She tried to control herself, but her smile vanished and somehow two words came out of her mouth, "Oh my!" she could not remove her eyes off his face.
Her hands over her chest told her that his muscles were tight and sculpted. She wanted to tear off his shirt and admire his body. Within seconds she dreamed about what she would do if she got him in her bed.
"Darling!" shouted Jack and came close to Journee and Archer.
Journee came back to her senses. She realized that she was there for a mission. "Dear!" she replied to Jack but held Archer tightly.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" asked Jack.
"Yeah, all thanks to this gentleman," Journee ran her hands all over his chest and batted her eyes at him. Archer again felt that somehow, he knew this girl.
Jack grabbed her hands and pulled her forcefully towards himself. "Stop flirting with him."
Archer felt uneasy when he saw him mishandling the beautiful girl. "Hey man! Chill! She was about to fall, I just caught her," he said. His baritone sent waves of pleasure through Journee's body. She bit her lower lip to control her emotions.
"Stop thinking about sex, focus girl," she scolded herself.
"Dear, dear, this is good for us. We wanted to spice up our romantic life. Maybe this gentleman can help us," said Journee.
"What?" shouted both Jack and Archer at once.
She moved towards Archer and moved her lips near his ears, "Would you have sex with me? We are looking for someone for a threesome."
Archer's mouth fell open at her proposal. He gulped, pushed her softly away from himself and replied, "I am flattered ma'am, but I never get involved with an involved woman." He respectfully bowed out.
"Are you asking him for… that?" asked Jack.
"Yeah, he said no," pouted Journee.
"Hey! You would be lucky to have her," Jack scolded Archer. "Come on, darling!" he grabbed Journee's arms and pulled her away from Archer.
Journee looked back and blew a kiss, Archer's way.
"Did you get it?" whispered Jack.
"Do you doubt my talents?" Journee looked at him and raised one eyebrow.
"Never, ma'am," they both started smiling and moved towards their van. She was successful.
