Get me out!

After Journee, William, and Kay were done with the pizza and beer and cola, all laid back in their chairs as they had too much to eat.

"Oh, food coma!" groaned Journee. "I should have changed the sheets before eating. Now I just want to sleep right here, right now."

"Me too," said Kay.

"Me three," William joined in.

But somehow, they moved away from the dining table, stored the leftover pizza, and went to their rooms. Kay and Journee had to remove the slightly dusty sheets. So, they kept groaning and cursing loudly as they were too full. The moment her head hit the pillow, Journee fell into a deep sleep.

She didn't remember leaving her window open as the AC was on. She groaned as she smelled the petrichor coming up the ground which made her realize that the sprinklers of her father's lawn had started drenching the hot ground with water. Strangely, she could not feel any air, neither from the AC nor from the open window. Only the smell entered the room.
