Tia slowly inspected her state before applying some healing potion to the opening wound and letting some enter Mallory's mouth as she lay there defenceless.

A small bandage was soaked in the healing potion before being wrapped around the shoulder area.

She made some additional checkups and fed Mallory another potion before standing up facing Maeve. "You can dress her now but be careful not to aggravate the healing wound."

Maeve nodded before asking. "Hm.. so how is she?"

Tia answered. "The wound itself was not deep so the blood loss was not the main cause for concern. The main reason for her current state would be due to bodily fatigue and mind down. What she needs now is rest and I have already fed her a mana potion."

Despite taking a direct hit from the enemy, the wound did not seem life threatening or damaging to her body.

It was like Mallory had very thick skin or a very tough hide combined with her current attributes that were boosted in her transformed state.

If it was left untreated then there would be a problem of infection or blood loss but since Tia was there to treat it right away, the wound would close up very quickly and she would make a full recovery.

The main problem came from her bodies state after taking on a transformation that took a heavy tole on her mind and body.

Mind down was usually a state related to those that recklessly used their magic until they exhausted it all so it was surprising for Mallory to be experiencing such a state during a physical transformation.

It showed that there was more than a physical requirement that was needed during her transformed state in order to maintain it.

Since the leopard had fought and killed everyone before making its way towards the cave entrance, it showed that it required a lot to be maintained before Mallory was completely tired out.

If she could not control her transformation then it was even more likely that the form would be maintained until she passed out which could be dangerous in some ways.

Maeve put aside the large backpack near the body of Mallory before taking out some spare clothes which were placed on the body of Mallory with the aid of Tia.

Nia stayed sat nearby keeping a lookout from a higher spot while her two fellow cat people remained in the cave.

Once she was dressed, Swaine and Franco were the first to exit followed by Jaco, Hiiro, Noire, Fitz and the others.

Some had still not completely recovered from their scary and life threatening experience so their movements were slower and full of hesitation.

Some had even looked towards Mallory with complicated or fearful gazes since they were among those that had seen her form.

They believed it was a powerful monster that had found them then come to corner them but they were relieved when Mallory transformed back.

Others were still giving some vigilant looks towards Mallory despite her harmless state that was being attended to by Tia.

It was not their fault that they felt that way towards their saviour but their hatred towards creatures similar to monsters had been deeply ingrained into the many races for a very long time.

Franco looked over everyone and commanded. "Since Mallory is unable to take charge, I will be taking over. First matter of business.. gather everyone and let's grab everything we can carry whether it be supplies or those that have more difficulty moving.

After that is done then I will need the more experienced people to scout ahead so I will be leaving this to Noire and Fitz leaving Nia to protect the group. Those that have the stomach for it.. I want those to deal with and search the bodies of the dead."

Despite the current situation, Franco knew that there was still a task to do and that there needed to be someone cleaning up done before they went back.

There may have not been any monsters in the area since they were cleared out by the previous group but there was still a danger of them being drawn towards the area due to the noise created and the smell of blood.

The bodies needed to be dealt with quickly in order to prevent any further dangers but it was also unwise for the dead bodies to be left to rot and cause a spread of disease.

Either the bodies needed to be taken back to be dealt with and inspected more thoroughly or they needed to be disposed of by burial or burning.

Unfortunately they were all not in the best state to carry back lots of dead bodies along with everyone else so they had to settle for the second option.

The main priority was to get out of there but there needed to be proof of the task being completed and some items that could prove helpful with identifying who had been involved with everything that happened.

Each body was rummaged through by Swaine as he took out everything he could before placing them to be carried by the supporters that were Maeve, Tia, Jaco and Hiiro.

He turned to Jaco and pointed to some bodies lying in a slightly better condition than the others. "Bringing one or two would bot hurt right?"

Franco thought for some time before answering. "Yes.. it should allow for further investigation. Pick out any that have their backs still in tact and have any markings on them."
