Easy But Hard

"You have to be kidding me!" Ayden watched as the ground in front of him cracked as the flower he had to get rose into the air and was perfectly perched on the back of a tortoise with a metal shell and glowing lines over its body.

[(Minor Boss) Armored Tortoise The Flower Keeper]

[Level: 10]

[Health: 12600/12600]

[Nano: 4400/4400]

[Weakness: Earth Magic]

Ayden really wanted to cry. He had never heard anything about needing to kill some kind of boss! The only good thing about this was that it stood taller than him and the weak points were underneath it. If he can just get up under it and get a few hits in, he would be able to kill it. The question was now how was he going to do it. He had no idea how fast this thing's attacks where or how it would attack.

"Roar!"

The boss tortoise let out a loud roar, unbefitting the name tortoise. It sounded more like a dragon than anything else. It rose up its front body and opened its mouth. Ayden only saw a blue digital magic circle made of thousands of 0s and 1s form before a white ball of light began to build up into the center. As the boss tortoise lowered its body down and stretched out its neck, and released the ball of white light as a solid white beam in a straight line straight at Ayden. Ayden had no idea what was going on, but he quickly jumped, tucked, and rolled his way out of the way of the beam of light before quickly jumping back up to his feet and running toward the boss tortoise.

"If I can just slide underneath it!" Ayden's focus was on hitting the weak points. If he can hit it a few times, then that would mean his win.

What he did not expect was that the tortoise would suddenly swing its head to look at him, causing him to have to change course and run away from the beam of light. He could see the grass and leaves on the ground vanishing into nothing as the beam swept over it, making him gulp a mouth full of saliva. He really did not want to be hit by that!

By the fact that it had already taken him quite a while to reach this spot, he did not wish to have to respawn back at the forest entrance or some other place just to fight his way back to the flower once again. While he would actually level up if he did, he still did not wish to waste the time!

Ayden kept running in a circle around himself which he planned to hopefully clear the ground out so he would not need to worry about slipping on grass or leaves. He ran three laps around the tortoise before it finally closed its mouth, canceling the white beam of light. As soon as it was canceled, he quickly changed directions and rushed toward the underside of the boss tortoise.

But just as he was about to slide up under it, the boss tortoise once more stood on his hind legs, but this time it did not stand up for too long before slamming its body toward the ground causing the earth under it to rise up and a wave. Ayden, who was very close to the impact, was thrown off his feet and tumbled to the ground. Luckily he did not lose any health. He was unsure of what that attack was supposed to do besides knocking him back and off his feet, but he soon found out as the tortoise's head turned his way with its mouth wide open.

"Damn it!" Ayden yelled out as he quickly ducked and rolled. He couldn't even get to the side of the boss tortoise because it was turning to look at him every time he moved. And for a tortoise, it was fast!

Ayden stared at the boss tortoise with pursed lips as he tried to figure out his next move. "If I get close, it will probably do the ground smash again, but if I time it right and jump up and launch off the wave of earth, I can probably roll right underneath the boss… But saying and doing are two different things" Ayden had no idea if his plan would work, so he could only try. But first, he had to wait for a second wave of the magic attack.

"Ahhh!" Ayden yelled out as he kept running. He was actually starting to get tired. His stamina was still low, after all. But luckily, the second magic attack was finally over, and now he just had to charge forward and wait for the right moment.

As he got into a certain range once more, the boss tortoise stood up on its hind legs and slammed down toward the ground. Another wave of earth flew at Ayden. He watched his fitting as he ran forward and jumped up at just the right moment, came down over the top of the mound, and launched off the back side of it, tucking and rolling his body directly under the boss tortoise!

He adjusted himself and began throwing punch after punch at the closest white spot, causing the boss tortoise to let out a pained roar. "Rooooaaaar!"

One hit, two hits! Critical hit! Critical hit! The health of the boss tortoise quickly dropped until finally….

The boss tortoise turned into a bunch of 0s and 1s before disappearing. As Ayden saw the items all dropping to the ground in a grand fashion, a notice suddenly flashed in front of his eyes.
