Anindira's Rampage

Chapter 010 Anindira's Rampage

Their conversation continued with Halvir pointing out and naming objects around them, until finally the rabbit meat was cooked and ready to eat. It tasted bland but Anindira could still enjoy it. Besides, even if she wanted to be fussy, the situation did not allow her to be picky about food.

''Bland,'' said Anindira after biting a piece of meat and then chewing it, ''Even so, the taste is not bad. Unfortunately, it's tough, my jaw is sore.''

Anindira spoke while lifting the meat that had been cut and showing it to Halvir.

The rabbit meat had a distinctive natural taste with the aroma of firewood and leaves that wrapped it.

''I don't know what you're talking about. But, seeing you eat well. That means you like the meat I cooked for you. That's good, you won't be hungry then.''

Anindira couldn't finish her share of the rabbit, her stomach was already full. Halvir then wrapped the rest of Anindira's meat with leaves and tied it with tree bark to make it easier to carry.

The young man carried Anindira and continued his journey.

Anindira was surprised because she thought she would be taken back up the tree.

''Um... Kak Halvir... Let me down!'' exclaimed Anindira awkwardly.

Because they already felt like they knew each other and were more familiar with each other. Anindira no longer used the term 'sir', but 'brother', because she felt that Halvir was the same age as her brother. Raffa who was 21 years old.

(In Indonesia, calling someone older by their name is considered impolite. Therefore, I still use the word ''Kak'' or ''Kakak'' which in English means big brother or big sister.)

''Um, please let me down...'' asked Anindira, who felt embarrassed, ''If you want to walk, I'll walk by myself...''

''Calm down!'' exclaimed Halvir firmly but gently, ''The journey is still far. If I don't carry you, it will take longer. It's okay for me, but it could be bad for you. This way it will be faster, we can't stay in the forest for too long... it's very dangerous!''

Anindira was confused to hear Halvir talking at length without being able to understand what he meant. Anindira was forced to give up. Not only because she could only follow whatever Halvir ordered. But, Halvir was very strong, so that, of course, Anindira would not be able to fight him.

*****

The journey was carried out while chatting until it was already getting dark.

Halvir began to look up, looking for something. When he found it, he jumped from one tree branch to another. Then, to the top, while still carrying Anindira. When he arrived at the destination, he lowered Anindira from his arms.

''Urgh...'' Anindira stretched her stiff and sore body, ''Umh, my muscles are tense. Even though I was carried, the one walking was Kak Halvir, but I was still incredibly tired.''

''Are you tired?''

Halvir looked sorry for Anindira who immediately straightened her legs while gently hitting her thighs as soon as she was lowered from the carrier.

Anindira still couldn't understand what Halvir was saying, even though along the way the two of them almost didn't stop babbling, even though their conversation seemed to only go one way. Of course, Anindira was the one who talked the most, considering she was also the most talkative in her family.

''Give me your feet!'' Halvir shouted while sitting cross-legged not far from Anindira, ''Here, I'll massage your stiff muscles.''

''Kak Halvir, what you're doing?!'' Anindira shrieked in surprise when Halvir put her feet on his lap, ''Don't, Kak Halvir please, I'm fine...''

''You know that I don't understand what you're saying at all. Shut up! If something happens to you in a place like this, it will definitely be troublesome because I don't know what to do if that happens.''

''I don't know what you're talking about... but Kak Halvir, you seem upset... Why? Am I being a nuisance?''

Halvir frowned, seeing Anindira's sad expression. The long sentence with Anindira's trembling voice made Halvir feel a little that Anindira was starting to feel depressed again.

''I'm really upset with myself right now. I'm a *Sapphire but seeing you like this, I feel like I'm useless... Besides Anindira, your name. I don't know anything about you... What clan are you from? Which village are you from? What happened that you got lost alone on the border of the *Forbidden Forest? Not being able to communicate properly really annoys me!''

Anindira resignedly let Halvir massage her feet because she didn't pull her feet forcibly when she heard Halvir speak with various expressions that showed that he was in a bad mood.

''Anindira!'' Halvir called with a sympathetic face, looking at her sadly.

''Yes, Kak Halvir...''

Halvir was silent for a moment before he finally smiled, ''At least, now you answer when I call you.''

SYUUU

Anindira immediately shivered in response. A sudden gust of wind came and made contact with her skin.

''Huft,'' Halvir sighed, seeing Anindira who was concerned, ''I don't know what your parents were thinking by giving you thin clothes. Or, this wasn't a gift from your parents?! I don't know what kind of cloth you used, it's so thin.''

Halvir opened the package of leftover rabbit meat that Anindira couldn't finish earlier. There were also some fruits that were picked during their journey earlier.

''Eat first, then rest, and then sleep!''

Some time later they had finished their dinner. Anindira had also digested her food enough while chatting a little with Halvir. Her eyes began to droop, she was tired and sleepy.

When Anindira was about to lie down, Halvir held her back.

Halvir immediately stood up and took off his clothes. Anindira whose eyes were drooping, suddenly widened in surprise to see the handsome young man with a muscular body naked in front of her casually.

''KAK HALVIR!'' Anindira screamed, her shocked expression matched with her angry face.

Halvir's reckless actions scared Anindira half to death. Various negative thoughts about the man who had disturbed Aninidra in her first meeting with Halvir crossed her mind again now.

''Get away from me!'' Anindira screamed with glaring eyes even though they were filled with tears, ''Whatever you're thinking now, don't try to do it... Even though you've helped me all this time, I assure you that you won't hesitate to take extreme decisions...''

Halvir was surprised by Anindira who suddenly looked angry and scared of him. Halvir's forehead frowned, thinking about what had gotten into Anindira all of a sudden.

''What's wrong with you again?!'' Halvir screamed in surprise, ''What's wrong with you?! What's bothering you?!''

''I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!'' Anindira screamed hysterically, ''Even if you persuade me, I won't understand!''

Halvir's eyes widened in surprise when Anindira suddenly snapped at him.

''Anindira!'' Halvir called, trying to hold back his anger, ''Calm down, because I don't understand what's happening... you and I are both having difficulty communicating. You suddenly went berserk like that... I have no idea what's bothering you.''
