The meeting with Rogue soon came to a conclusion, both agreeing that they'd use the Eddies Ori had provided to search for Cat until it ran out. If they found her before that, he'd get whatever is left of the money, apart from the 'Finders Fee' obviously.

Ori couldn't really he was happy, to be honest, the fact that Rogue had so much information on him and the secret shit that should've been kept hidden, yet knew nothing about Cat's location rubbed him the wrong way... Using her resources to act like a smug bitch doesn't seem all that efficient...

There was also what she knew about Casinha... He wouldn't touch it for now, but when he had the chance he'd buy whatever information she had. Even if it was just a confirmation of what he knew already, it'd be good enough, if only to settle his mind.

*Beep-Beep*

[Hey Ori, you get to the meet ok?] - Judy

[yeah, made it just in time. Rogue is on the case now, hopefully she will find something.] - Ori

[Great! That good to hear, i dont know how i would be in your situation... at least i can help. also, ty for helping out yesterday ^_^] - Judy

[No probs, happy to help. Hazel ain't someone who should be stalked, i get why u wanted to help her out] - Ori

[Yes... I was gonna pay u but seems like she already did. look, im not gonna tell u how to live ur life but u should probably stay away from girls like Hazel... Just some advice] - Judy

[Whys that? she didnt seem all that bad to me...] - Ori

[Ori, forgetting the obvious risk of getting the clap. hazel ain't the kind of girl to give for free. shes expecting you to come back with wallet in hand. who knows, u might turn into stalker-boy 2.0] - Judy

Ori inwardly grimaces, he had been thinking of 'renting' her time again, but he held back because of Cat... Still, Judy wasn't wrong.

[Alright 'mom', ill stay away from the big bad joytoys. Happy?] - Ori

[Niño tonto. whatever, its up to u... also, Qs been asking for u, check ur texts, she got an important job apparently] - Judy

[Got it... Thanks] - Ori

He steps out onto the pavement and calls a cab while flicking through his texts. And look at that, Susie needed him for a job tonight... Maybe he'd get a full night's sleep tomorrow...?

------------------------------

Ori enters Lizzie's Bar freshly showered and with a new set of clothes. He spots his 'crew' sitting in one of the booths in the corner, Rebecca and Six were sat opposite each other and seemed to be bickering about something, the borg-merc tuning the girl out as she speaks.

Still, he could tell Six wasn't in his usual dour mood due to his foot bobbing up and down, it wasn't following the music but it was close enough... Who knew he liked techno-rap?

"Yo, Susie tell you what we're here for yet?" Ori greets and he sits next to Six, his eyes focusing on the guy's hands and neck. "You get new Cyberware?"

Six shakes his head, "Had to sell some to pay for the upkeep." he states meaningfully, not wanting Rebecca to know what they were talking about. "I replaced it. No loss of combat effectiveness."

"It really costs that much...?" Ori questions, slightly shocked.

"You guys just gonna ignore me?" Rebecca grumpily asks, "I get that from the sad metal giant here, but you Ori? Are you still mad at me or something?"

"The jobs we are doing for the Mox do not pay as well as the ones Max got us. Not as many either." Six responds, ignoring Rebecca. "It's fine, I will manage."

"If you're sure..."

Rebecca huffs, "Susie said she'd be down soon... Say, you guys do anything outside of gigs? You're always so serious..."

Ori shrugs, "Not really, almost never have time to myself nowadays..."

She hums thoughtfully, "Hmmm, maybe I should take you about the town? A boring guy like you needs a push to do anything at all! Whaddya think of shooting ranges?"

"Waste of bullets..."

...

"Partying?" she continues, unwilling to give up this avenue of discussion.

"Overpriced drinks..." he states, truly the prices bars sold drinks for was ridiculous. You could buy a whole bottle in a regular supermart for the same price as three shots... And don't even mention some kind of cocktail, mostly mixer shit that somehow quadrupled the price of the drink. Those Synth-lemons and limes weren't worth the space they took up either.

"Uughh, seriously you're almost as boring as my bro..."

"Your bro...? You have a brother?"

"Yeah, name's Pilar, massive douchebag... Forgot to pay the rent for our apartment and ran away for a while, reason why I joined the Mox in the first place." she scowls down at her drink, "If it weren't for him I wouldn't have gotten this sketchy Cyberware..."

"I thought your stuff was pretty preem though?"

She scoffs and points at her pale arm, "You think I wanted to look like a snowman? I needed something to stop me getting flatlined so I got some 'prototype' subdermal armour. Problem is the trash screwed my blood vessels, almost causing all my skin to rot off me... Got it fixed but this is the result..." she mutters with a sigh.

Huh, he hadn't thought she was upset about her white skin... He thought she'd modified herself, she always acted like the world could explode and she still wouldn't care... "Personally, I think it's pretty cool. White skin and pink tats? Makes me wonder if you taste like bubblegum." he grins.

She looks up and her frown twists, matching his grin, "Ooh? That so?"

"You choose the colour of your eyes too? Or were they prototype as well?"

Rebecca shakes her head, "Eh," she rubs a finger on her bottom eyelid, "I chose the pink, but the green is part of my smart systems. Couldn't get rid of it without trading out my eyes, which ain't an option with how much they cost... Why? You lookin' to chrome up? You were askin' about my Cyberware back in the warehouse, weren't you?"

"Eh, maybe not my eyes for now. Some armour would be good though. Not like yours though, no offence but I doubt I could pull off the same look." he offers but she just snickers back.
