Reluctant Cooperation

Ori steps into Six's garage and finds the Borg-merc and Rebecca already there, the latter with her feet kicked up on a hastily dragged-out table while Six just scowls at her.

"Yo." he greets with a short wave while sitting next to Rebecca. As he does though tense awkwardness compasses both of them, neither really knowing how to act with everything that happened yesterday.

Rebecca musters up her courage and drops her legs on his lap, "Heya Ori, u get much sleep last night?" she asks with a forced grin.

"Bit stiff but alright, how 'bout you?" he questions pointedly.

"Ah, well... Y'know, the usual!..."

...

"I miss something?" Six asks the duo, not stupid enough to miss the weird signals they were giving off.

Ori palms the back of his head, his other hand resting on Rebecca's calf in his lap, "Ah, kinda..."

She folds her arms, "We hooked up, that gonna be a problem?"

Six just shrugs, "Don't start screwing mid-gig and keep your teenage hormones away from me." he states dismissively.

"Huh, thought it would've been a bigger issue." Rebecca mutters.

"Whaddya mean?" Ori asks.

"Eh, a year ago I was with some Mox on a job and two girls were shacking up, Susie split the team up completely... Thought it was some big merc no-no...?" she says, glancing at Six who gives no indication that he was even hearing her.

"Let's get started on this job, shall we?" Six states, leaning on the table.

"Alright, here's what needs doin'." Ori starts, laying out what Sasha wanted done by midnight. The duo just listened intently the entire time, neither looking unsure even after he'd told them everything... It was reassuring, to be honest, these two not blinking an eye at what most people with any common sense would consider a suicide mission.

"So, either of you got any plans to distract the bots?" Rebecca asks them.

Ori shrugs, "I was thinking to just bomb the place and draw the bots to the ground floor. A big enough boom will definitely do the trick... But the NCPD is a problem." he says and Six nods, still in thought.

"Why not just cause so much trouble that the cops have no idea where to go?" Rebecca states.

"Huh... That might actually work... It'd be tough though-" Ori pauses, the information they extracted from the Tyger Claw yesterday appearing in his mind. "How does pitting the Tygers against most of the cops in the city sound?" he asks, drawing both of their interest.

Ori links with Six's holographic machine and displays the City Center on it, quickly pointing to various areas just on the outskirts of the area. "Our friend yesterday revealed some high-prio Tyger locations. They don't really have any 'official' bases, but they do 'own' some businesses."

He marks a couple places, a massage parlour, a clothing shop, a nightclub, and a restaurant. "These places should be crawling with Tygers, most probably in gang-wear since they're all Arasaka groupies. Let's plant some explosives and draw the NCPD here, let them start fighting in the chaos."

Rebecca grins broadly at that, "That sounds like a lot of fun!"

"Might work, but the Tygers have plants in the NCPD..." Six states.

"Didn't Judy get into their systems? Couldn't we have her mark the explosives as caused by the Tygers?" Ori wonders aloud.

Rebecca shrugs at that, "Might be hard but she hates the Tygers as much as the rest of us."

*Knock-Knock-Knock!*

The trio turn their heads towards the garage door, "Look like our client has arrived." Ori remarks, prompting Six to raise the door.

"Hi again, Ori." Sasha greets with a smile, tilting her body seductively as she struts into the room and slides into a chair at the far end of the table.

"Yo-" he starts but grunts slightly as Rebecca drops a heel on his knee.

"You never mentioned our client was so... Cute... How'd you meet?" she drawls with a forced smile that didn't reach her eyes.

"Funny story, she ended up kidnapping an acquaintance and tried to kill me... She's trustworthy though, tried and tested." he adds to reassure them.

"That's all in the past, Ori. And I paid you back didn't I?" Sasha says. "Besides, I didn't come here for a 'cat-fight'," she looks down at the holographic map of the City Center, specifically the highlighted areas of Tyger Claw turf. "You have a plan cooking?"

Ori nods, jumping at the chance to change the subject, "We were talking about volunteering the Tyger Claws in the area to be our distraction. Detonate some explosives around these points while using smaller, less flashy ones at the doors over Biotechnica's building..."

"Hmm..." Sasha hums, "Do you have any plans to deal with the robots? Or keep yourselves alive while fighting them?"

"We'll just shoot them, y'know, like a normal person..." Rebecca remarks.

Six shakes his head, "She means their targeting systems. They will not be like aim-assist Cyberware. Each shot will be pinpoint accurate, and the only reason they aren't used everywhere is because of their cost, and because they are so vulnerable to Netrunner attacks."

Ori shoots a glance at Sasha, "Could you do something about them?"

She shakes her head, "No, It'll be tough enough sneaking inside alone..."

He sighs, "So we'll need another Netrunner if we don't wanna get zeroed on the spot... Won't the other Corpo building's security also be a problem?"

"No, it's actually better for them if they let their competitors take some damage." Sasha explains.

"Six, you got the explosives?" Ori asks and the merc nods. "Then all we're lacking now if a Netrunner... Anyone know someone we could hire?" he asks. Judy immediately sprung to mind but she'd be busy enough with the police systems... Not to mention she wasn't an 'official' Netrunner.

"I... Might know someone..." Rebecca reluctantly adds from where she was sitting, drawing the group's attention, "A new addition to my bro's crew..."

"That Pilar guy has a crew...?" Ori wonders, baffled.

"Well, it's not 'his' crew but... I used to work with them sometimes, y'know, before us three got together. Her name's Kiwi, and she'll probably want an equal split..."
