Disaster

the king couldn't believe what he just heard from this girl, was she even serious, a slave, the prince fell in love with a slave, and not just that, she also interrupted the king while he was talking.

Reine stared at her for two reasons..... one was that, she chose to confess the truth to the king without feeling any worry that maybe her past would bring her in trouble while being in the palace.

second, did she do it on purpose? she was clearly told not to interrupt the royals and today she did just that, was she even serious? and it would have been better if she interrupted any royal member but the king, the king himself, she dared to interrupt the king himself.

but the king smiled and told her

"you faced a lot my dear, hope this place will make you feel better and feel at home"

"this place does make me feel better, good food, big bed, servants working for me, taking care of my every need, for a slave like me, this to me is like my own paradise... so please worry not your magesty, this place does make me feel better, but not the feeling of home, as I don't know how it feels to be living in my own home"

Reine shut his eyes tightly and swallowed what he was busy eating, he knew if this girl kept on talking like this, then she'll be in trouble. big trouble.

the queen feeling the heavy air, she said

"your magesty, I think we should eat and ask questions later, don't you think so Reine?"

Reine raised his face and answered her

"yes, you're right my queen"

the queen smiled and they continue eating. when Lunar was done having her meal, she stood and said

"am grateful for the meal your magesty, may I please go to my room?"

"ofcourse dear, you may"

Lunar bowed to them, she looked at Reine and left the breakfast table and head to her room with Leen and Raya beside her. Reine said nothing. when she finally left, the king said

"a slave, you brought a slave in the royal family"

"she might be a slave, but I think she has something greater then we all think, just give her time your magesty, we'll know more the more she stays here"

"if she has anything then why was she enslaved? if she was powerful enough then she would have never been enslaved. listen my son, I know you love her, but please, try to understand my concern"

" yes your magesty"

the king sigh, he stood and left the breakfast table. the queen looked at the prince and told him

"all will be fine, I'll go talk to him"

"thank you my queen"

the queen smiled and left. Reine said nothing, instead, he stood and went to his chambers. he passed the corridor and looked at the girl's room, then, he turned and went to her room.

the three girls turned and when they saw the prince, they bow down to him. he entered and went to Lunar. Leen upon seeing the prince starring at Lunar, she understood. she pulled the sleeve of Raya and told her they should leave. Raya understood why. the two girls bow again and head outside the room.

Reine looked at her as she looked down.

"Are you okay? I hope the king didn't scare you with his questions"

"he didn't your highness, I can understand why he was asking such questions, but an fine, so you don't have to worry."

"am glad"

" am sure you didn't come here just to ask if am okay, tell me,, what do you want? "

" nothing, I want nothing from you"

" then may I be left alone, maybe you haven't noticed but I feel very uncomfortable being around you"

Reine was taken aback when she said that, uncomfortable? she felt uncomfortable Reine being around her? with bo doubt, Reine was hurt by what she said, he felt the sharp pain in his heart which Lunar knew about.

but Reine smiled and ask

" Why do you feel uncomfortable being around me? ain't I supposed to be your friend? "

" from what I experienced through out my life, there's no friendship between the slave and their masters"

" but you are not my slave Lunar "

" you locked me up in here commanding me not to go out and your telling me that am not your slave? "

" I only put up that rule so I could keep you safe"

" safe from who? "

" same from.... the lords out there, Lunar, I made a lot of effort to have you here with me, if I lose you..... "

" your highness, no one wants a slave, and since now am owned by the prince, no one will dare to come close to me, and even if they do, I can defend myself, the same way as I did back in the dessert of monsters..... "

" how did you survive?"

"that'll be non of your concern your highness as I wish to not talk about it"

" alright if that's what you wish then, I won't force you to say nor do anything which your uncomfortable with "

" if that's the case then, then please leave your highness"

Reine sigh

"as you wish Lunar"

Reine turned and left her room. Lunar let out a breath and she went and dropped on her bed.

" I can't stay here, god knows when he'll show me his true colours and decide to use me, I need to escape this place"

lunar was now determined to escape from the palace, and she'll do anything to achieve her goals.

in the king's room. the king was mad, he was angry, angry to what happened today and what he heard coming out from that girl's mouth

" she's a slave, she can't help my kingdom in anyway"

" my love, please rest on my laps"

" not now my queen... "

" please my king"

the king sigh and lay on the bed as his head lay on the queen's laps. the queen carresed his hair and told him

" when I came here, I don't think you knew if I was a light fairy my king, you brought me and took me to your chambers, it took you months to figure out who I was, and where I came from. I remember how I felt back then, I was afraid and scared of you, I wasn't so sure if I should trust you, but as time went by, I did learn to trust you and slowly by slowly I opened up to you...

my king, I think all she needs is a little time to adjust with mirrormoor, give her time, maybe she got more than what meets the naked eye.... "
