Dis approval

"Your magesty...." Reine called him out after seeing and noticing that he was quiet, too quiet, he didn't show any sign of agreeing to what he said nor disapproval, he needed to know what he thought about his decision, but that doesn't mean that he'll change his mind even if the king would go against his decision..

But why would he? Wasn't he the one who encouraged him and even helped him that day to get what Reine wanted? didn't he supported him when Reine told him that day that he needed her and not want her? he even encouraged him to be with her and protect what his... so then, why would he be against his decision now?

But then again, so many things happened in the last weeks since her arrival, she managed to turn the peaceful lives of everyone in the palace into worry and disappointments, everything she did back then did nothing but make king leviath even more worried about his decision of making her the prince's girl.. she broke the rules of the palace, she ran away so many times and even got herself in trouble, and made his own family go against one another, his own son threatened to kill his own blood brother, his uncle.

king Leviath looked at him as Reine called to him, he sigh and told him

" I don't approve of this wedding" not just Reine, but even Sevanna was shocked about his decision.

he said nothing else, he stood up and he was gonna leave when Reine stopped him by his disturbing question..

"Why won't approve it?" Reine asked him, though he only asked one question, the king could see in his eyes that they were many questions tht came with that one question.

he looked at Reine with the same expression and told him

"Are you defying my orders"

"That wasn't an order, nor am I defying your orders your magesty, I only need to know why you're not approving to it..so why"

the queen went to her king and held his arm and asked him, her eyes sad as she asked him the same question

"But why wouldn't you approve of this wedding? Isn't this is what we always wanted? he already found her and he wants to marry her why would you go against it?"

"Because she's nothing but trouble, since she arrived here, all she ever did was break our rules without a care of what night happen to her, she did whatever she wanted to do without fearing anyone, and do you know why? because she knew you'd defend her, and no matter how many times she'd run away, she always knew you'd find her and bring her back to the palace, is she was capable of doing all those things when she was just a slave, I can't imagine what she'd do if she becomes the crown princess of Mirrormoor.. and I won't let that happen!!"

Sevanna looked at Reine after hearing what Leviath just said while looking at Reine, Reine on the other hand felt disappointed by the king's decision, he always thought the king would stand beside him even if everyone went against this marriage, but even he was disapproving of it, and that made him mad, he sigh and looked at the king.

"If that's your decision, then it's fine, I have no problem with it, but... that doesn't change the fact that I'll marry this woman and make her my wife"

"I'd never allow that mere human slave to be the crown princess of Mirrormoor, she'd bring nothing but disaster!!! " the king yelled at Reine, veins popping out on the sides of his head and his eyes already went golden brown, shimmering with nothing but anger. Sevanna held him and tried to calm him down but his gaze was fixed on Reine who seems to be in complete sane even after the king's anger being thrown at him.

Reine looked at him and talked to him with still calm and low voice, keeping in mind that the one he was talking to was the king, and so he would never lose his temper and raise his voice to him.... for now.

"So what problem do you have with her? is it because she's a mere human, a mere powerless slave, or because... she's capable of doing and saying whatever she wants.. "

" All of those reasons!! she's a mere human, a slave and doesn't care bout the rules of Mirrormoor.. "

" About her breaking the rules, am. happy to inform you that because of what happened, she changed and promised me to never break them again...and am sure you know what it means to make a promise in Mirrormoor"

" But you can't change the fact that she's only a mere human! "

" Yet she survived the badlands filled with monsters and entered the dark forest, fought them til she was saved by our guards and brought to Mirrormoor.. "

Reine left his seat and approached the king..

" I know what you're worried about, you fear that she's powerless and defend less, and she won't be able to help the royal family when trouble comes but, your magesty, the reason why I wanted her and brought her that day was not only because I needed her, I knew she was something, something different, if she was able to cross the bad lands and entered the dark forest then it means that she's not just a mere human, she could be something else, powerful or more powerful than us all... "

the king thought about Reine's explanation, he seems to be understanding him, Reine smiled, but his smile faded in second before the king could notice it. he continued

" I need to find out more about her, first I needed her to trust me, and now as we're talking, she trusts me completely, after what happened few days ago, she believes every single word that I tell her and she'd probably do anything that I'd tell her to do, but that won't be enough for her to tell me everything, about who she is, and what she is exactly... the only way for I to make her talk and tell me everything I need to know, is to make her trust me completely, fall in love with me and give in to me, and the only way for that to happen, is for I to marry her...once she's my wife, she'd open up to me and tell me everything I need to know, and only then, would we know if she's just a mere human or more than whom she claims to be... "
