The news about the king being dead stroke Alex to the core as he couldn't believe that their beloved merciful king was gone, tears started welling up I'm his eyes as he thought about the king's death, the two Vampires noticed that the man was about to cry and as quick as they could, tried to coax him

"Hey listen!! Please don't cry, the king... It's just that, he died during the war"

Alex asked them. As he looked at them with his tears filled eyes, the only thing that was left for them was to fall like a waterfall beneath his very eyes.

But tehr so vampires didn't hesitate to tell Him about the whole matter, they looked at each other before telling him what Sej told them

"Well... Sej didn't say exactly how the king died so we all assumed that he got killed by the monsters and no one knew exactly how it happened except for Sej and probably his highness, since they were together when they were found beneath the lake"
