After Yi Chen settle down, the host went on stage and announce the start of the auction

hearing the host voice, both Xin Yi and Ming Huan stop chatting, and they pay attention to the host who was now introducing the painting

Although Ming Hui have XY painting she has never acquired the premium one's, the more she looks at the painting being displayed the more look at it the more she loves it

However, she knows she will never get to acquire it cause whenever she attends any auction and want to buy the items, Huan jun childhood sweetheart Wan Yu will always battle for it.

One by one, the host displayed the paintings, excluding the premium one's. And they were auctioned off.

Ming Hui didn't make a move

“Now it's time to display XY premium painting I am sure we all know XY premium paintings are only one piece, and we all know….” the host announced before bringing out the painting

Seeing the painting, many people gasps as a determined expression to get the painting appear on their face.

Ming Hui couldn't hear what the auctioneer was saying anymore she was fascinated with. The painting, she tried to hide her excitement, she lean towards Xin Yi and whispered into her ear.

“Xin Yi this is XY premium painting, it is really alluring, but I just can't bid for it” Ming Hui mood Change

Xin Yi looks at Mother Lu silently without uttering a word, but seeing mother Lu squeezing her hand subconsciously, Xin Yi thought about saying a word to calm her down

Wan Yu raise the price higher from it original price All just to provoke Ming Hui,

unconsciously Ming Hui happen to stare at Wan Yu who threw her a smug look…

Ming Hui smile drop, she has the money to bid for the painting, but she didn't want people to think she was having competition with her husband childhood sweetheart, so she always kept a low-key

fortunately, Wan Yu didn't know this she thought the Lu elder and Jun Huan didn't like her, so she has always show off and act smug in front of her

Hearing the voice, Yi Chen swept her gaze across the action hall and saw Xin Yi and his mother sitting beside them self while whispering in each other ear, Yi Chen raised his eyebrow because he didn't remember his mother being close to Xin Yi

Looking at his mother Yi, Chen was glad her illness didn't react after checking mother Lu out he changes her gaze to Xin Yi he watches has Xin Yi smiled to whatever mother Lu has told her

This makes Yi Chen remember Ai Zhan he frowned he has always done things efficiently but right now, the mighty Yi Chen stare into the space while thinking of how to break the news of Ai Zhan to her

At that moment people try to see who say raise the price to three tines the actual price, Xin Yi raise mother Lu hands which was holding the bidding stick up

when everyone sees mother Lu bidding stick

“9 million Naira I can't believe it one if the people whispered to the person beside her.....”

“I thought she couldn't afford it….” another questioned

Wan Yu assure herself that Ming Hui was only pretending, and she won't bid for the remaining four paintings

But how wrong Wan Yu was, cause the next painting she tried to bid for, was bid for by Mother Lu.

Until the end of the auction Wan Yu didn't get to win any of the bid cause Ming Hui bid for them all, Wan Yu was repeatedly humiliated since she didn't get to win any of the famous Xin Yi painting

After the auction was over, everyone got up from their seat has they exist the auction hall except some who sat down to calm down and accept defeat like Wan Yu

After the auction Ming Hui get up from her seat to pay and collect the paintings

on getting to the host Ming Hui was about to pay for the painting when Xin Yi brought out a black card handling it over to the host who swipe the card and return it

Mother Lu stare at Xin Yi with mixed feeling, feeling Mother Lu gaze Xin Yi lazily explained her self

“it was given to me by Yi Chen oppa”

Hearing this, mother Lu feel relax, and she called the shadow bodyguard to retrieve the painting

Seeing Ming Hui was about to exist the auction room, Wan Yu hop from her seat as she calls her out

“Mrs Lu, please wait!” Wan Yu said while gritting her teeth together, she continues “Mrs Lu, you see XY the painter of this painting is my favorite creator and I love her painting, can you please sell me one of the paintings” Wan Yu uttered politely and friendly?

Ming Hui stared at Wan you blankly before saying her mind “I am sorry madam Wan Yu, XY painting is also my favorite painter I can't give up the painting besides.....”

Wan Yu seeing Ming Hui has no intentions of giving her any of the painting didn't bother listening to what Ming Hui has to say.

As Xin Yi listen to Ming Hui answer to Wan Yu she was sure mother Lu will stand up for herself, so she excuses herself silently

Wan Yu feel hatred for Ming Hui squeeze tears out of her eyes, “Mrs. Lu I beg you please, just one painting will do….”

Ming Hui looks at the woman in front of her, and she felt displeased, she saw that people will soon gather to watch what was happening

Ming Hui didn't want this to happen she was thinking of how to end Wan Yu acting when a waiter carrying wine pass besides her, an idea drop into her mind she took one of the glasses and deliberately spill a little on Wan Yu yellow dress when no one was paying attention

Wan Yu feeling a liquid on her dress change dramatically, she looks at Ming Hui with hatred she pointed a finger at Ming Hui while saying some ugly Words when Wan Yu notice she has made a mistake it was already late…

“I can't believe she said all those word to Mrs. Lu just because she mistakenly spilled a little wine on her…”

“She is only being jealous, and she wanted to take it on Mrs. Lu since she didn't win any of the painting…”

“I don't feel good being with her… but come to think of it Ming Hui is pitiful, she has to endure this cause Wan Yu is her husband childhood Sweetheart.....”

Wan Yu quickly walk out of the auction hall feeling disgrace while covering her face

Ming Hui smiled, “That's a pity…. I wanted to see her disgrace herself more, she whispered to herself.”
