Rumaan's POV
It's been three days; everyone was upset in my house. Mama Baba, they didn't talk to me. Riya Aapi and Fathima were also angry. They also didn't want to talk to me. Yesterday I tried to talk to Fathima but she refused to say she didn't have time to waste. But for Hana, they all have their time, love and attention.
Yes. She didn't come out of her room after that day. Everyone goes to her. They have their time to waste on her but not for me. I didn't have any problem with that but I felt hurt. No one was trying to understand me. They only cared about Hana, no one cared about me.
I am sorry Hana... I have to do this. Because of you, my family is angry with me. So, you have to be the scapegoat. I don't have any problem with you, but I want my family back.
I smirked on his thoughts and walked toward Hana's room.

Rumaan knocked on the door and waited for Hana to open the door. Hana opened the door and saw Rumaan standing there. Her heart started beating fast and eyes getting wet as she recalled what he said that day.
Rumaan looked at her for second and cleared his throat before saying anything.
"Can I come?" He asked. She nodded.
He came inside and stood in the middle of the room. He looked back and saw Hana was still standing at the door. He sighed and goes in front of her, grabbing her hand, he takes her to the bed. And made her sit while he sat beside her. Sitting beside each other they didn't say anything for a few minutes.
"Hana, I want to talk to you" Finally Rumaan broke the uncomfortable silence. She looked at him with fearful eyes. She was afraid to know what he wants to talk.
Does he want to talk about divo... No! No Hana! Think positive.
She assured herself and nodded her head for him to continue.
"First tell me you ok na?" He asked and she just nodded in response.
"Then why don't you come downstairs?" He asked looking at her. She looked down at her hands.
"Because I don't feel like..."She said in a low voice. He sighed and held her hand.
"Hana, I know I hurt you... I hurt my parents... I hurt everyone. But Hana trusts me I didn't want that to happen. I just wanted them to understand that I don't want to marry. I am not ready for this. And about divorce. I thought it's better for both of us...." Hana began panicking, her hand became sweaty. She didn't want that talk. She felt her heart would stop anytime. She thought Rumaan came here to convince her for divorce. If she knew better.
"And Hana divorce..."
"No!! No Maan please don't say that word" She didn't let him finish and hugged him tightly wrapping her hands around his waist and started crying on his chest.
Rumaan was startled at first but then he wrapped his hands around her.
"Hana..."
"No Maan... Please don't tell me that... that you want to divorce... I will die Maan if you did this to me... I can't live without you... our nikah... you are everything for me... This is the reason I live...I waited for you all those years, not for divorce Maan but love... Your love... I have only one dream Maan... to be loved by you... Don't snatch this from me... Maan, please... I love you Maan... I love you from the time I came to my conscious. I love you when I came to know what is love... I love you since we married... I love you all my life... I love you so much Maan... I love you... please don't do this to me." She started crying hard on his chest holding him tightly.
Rumaan's eyes were widened he was shocked at her confession. He didn't know Hana love him that much. And he can feel Hana's every word came from her heart. Her every word was true. He can feel but he didn't want to feel... so he just shook his head and moved back removing her hands from him. She looked at him with tears filled eyes. She gulped and started panicking again as Rumaan move back.
Rumaan sighed and looked away. She looked at him with her red teary eyes tilting her head. She kept staring at him. The tear didn't stop from falling.
"Hana I... I don't... I am not ready for this. I am.."
"I know... I know you are not ready for this... and I am not going to force myself on you... I will wait for Maan... I will wait until you are ready..." She was saying with her cracked voice. But he interrupted her,
"And what if I am never ready to accept this marriage.?"
"I can wait for you my whole life... until my last breath... I can live happily with your name Maan..." She said with a small smile. He looked at her with wide eyes.
He felt bad. If Hana loves him this much then what he was going to do would break Hana even more.
But that is not my problem. I don't love her. and I didn't ask her to love me this much... so I don't have to feel bad. she loves me... so she has to deal with it... He thought and sighed.
He cupped her face and wiped tears.
"Ok fine... if you are ready to wait., then I don't have any problem to stay in this Nikah as long as you respect my decisions. You will have to support me with my every step. Will you?" He asked. She smiled and nodded her head hurriedly like a child. He smirked looking at her craziness for him.
"Promise me you will never think about divorce," He asked extending her palm in front of him. He took her hand and nodded", I promise you I am never going think about divorce"
'Because this time you are the one who would demand divorce' He thought to himself and smirked.
While Hana felt relief washed over her and smiled widely.
"Ok first of all. you have to convince my parents and my sisters to forgive me... they don't want to talk to me Hana... and I really feel hurt," He said making a sad face and turned around. His back was facing Hana. She felt hurt seeing her Maan like this.
"Maan please don't be sad. I will talk to them and convince them... they will forgive you... I promise" She comforted him, coming in front of him.
"Really?" He asked smiling. She nodded and smiled.
"Thank you, Hana"
"No need to... ok now I should go and talk to them," She said and was about to go but Rumaan held her wrist.
"You go and tell mama and Baba that I am ready to give this Nikah a chance" He ordered her.
"You are ready?" She asked smilingly, her eyes lit up.
"No Hana... I said, you tell them that I am ready. but I am not. to be honest Hana... I am not ready to give even a chance to this Nikah. Only for you, I am just willing not to divorce you... that's it" He said coldly but being naive, Hana just nodded her head at him and left the room.

Hana's POV
3 days I spent with anxiety. I was afraid to come out of my room because I thought Maan will again ask for a divorce.
But now I felt relaxed after talking to Maan. He promised me that he will never think about divorce ever again and that's enough for me... Now it's up to me to make Maan fall for me.
I will make him realize that he can spend his whole life with me happily. I was going to do everything for him. He will love me if I obey him, love him and make him relaxed around me, and make him feel my love for him.
So here I was standing in front of mama baba's room. For his happiness, I have to convince them. I sighed and knocked on the door. And after few seconds mama opened the door. She was surprised seeing me at first but then smiled
"Hana... beta do you need something," She asked. Her voice filled with concerned.
"I want to talk to you and Baba," I said, and mama held my hand and took me inside. Baba was sitting on the couch doing something on his laptop which was placed on the small table in front of him. He put his laptop on the table after looking at me and walked toward me. Putting his hand on my head he asked with concerned.
"Hana... bacche you ok?" I smiled at mama Baba' concern for me. I silently thanks Allah for giving me them.
Allah took my parents from me but in return, he gave me this family. Mama, baba, Riya Aapi, Fathima Aapi. They all love me so much that they can be angry with their son/brother for me... Maan said they didn't talk to him in those 3 days. And I felt bad. I didn't want this; I wanted my family to be happy.
"I am fine Baba... I just came here to talk to both of you " I said and Mama made me sit on the bed and she sat next to me while Baba sat on the chair which placed side of the bed.
"What is it beta?" Baba asked softly.
"Baba mama... why you both stopped talking to Maan?" I asked looking at them.
"Because he needs to learn that he was wrong and he hurt his whole family by his cruel words," Baba said angrily.
"But Baba... " I was cut off by mama.
"No Hana... your Baba is right... he needs to learn this is not America where he can do anything he wants, this is our home... where we live as a family... where the relationship doesn't break," Mama said sternly.

Author's POV
Rumaan was standing in front of his parent's room and was eavesdropping their conversation.
He heard his parents stern voice and felt hurt.
"Mama baba please give him some time. He will..."
"No Hana you are not going to support him... He did wrong. He really needs to learn this now. Otherwise, he will go far from this, if we spared him this time." Ahmed said firmly and Rumaan knew that his parents didn't seem to change their mind.
"No baba... he will never do that again," Hana said.
"How can you be so sure?" Ahmed asked and Hana smiled.
"Because Maan promised me that he will never think about divorce," Hana said with a smile. A frown appeared on Ahmed and Shabana's face.
"He talked to you?" Shabana asked Hana nodded smiling widely.
"Yes, mama... He came to me and he promised me that, he will never think about our divorce" Hana said her eyes filled with happy tears.
"Really?" Shabana asked feeling relaxed.
"Yes" Hana nodded and a tear escapes her eyes.
"But still Hana... it's not enough" Ahmed said and stood up from his chair.
"He promised you but I know him... he won't accept this marriage so easily." He said and again sat on the couch.
Hana stood up and went to him. She sat in front of him on the ground.
"Baba... Maan told me that he is ready to give us a chance" Hana said.
She knew that she was lying to them. While Rumaan clearly told her that he was not ready to even give a chance to their marriage. But she has to do this for her Maan.
"What!? He is ready to give a chance to you? " Shabana asked shocked but happy.
"Yes, he is ready to give me and this marriage a chance... Baba, Mama we should give him some time... this is all new for him... he needs our support and love. Please talk to him and give him the love he wants" Hana pleaded them innocently. They both looked at each other and smiled looking at Hana.
"If you say, then we will forgive him," Ahmed said with a smile and made Hana sit beside him.
"Thank you, baba," Hana hugged him.
While Rumaan heard everything standing behind the door and sighed in relief. Now it's crystal clear for him that Hana means a lot to his parents and he can't get rid of her until she wants.
I promise you, Hana... I will make sure that you will want our divorce as soon as possible.
He smirked and left from there.
