The Useless Duchess' Second Chance

After finishing handing Cornell and Carla to Jimmy's care, Ariana returned to focus on completing the tasks assigned to her. The girl secretly smiled, when she saw Valencia was still frowning from time to time. Without needing to be told, Ariana actually already knows the reason Valencia has been dissatisfied ever since. Yet, Ariana decided to keep quiet because getting her work done was more important than explaining things to Valencia right now. 


The next few hours were spent with just Valencia on guard and Ariana doing her job. Ariana's study room was so quiet that a knocking sound caught their attention.
