Worried

In the king's study, both Marquess Curtis and Captain Allen glanced at each other as Raoul, who had been king for several months, took another deep breath. The man's gaze looked sad, as his hands continued to move to work on the pile of tasks in front of him.

The two men who had been watching Raoul for a while knew that even though the king was doing his job, his mind was actually elsewhere. Another sigh sounded again, as Raoul finished with another paper.

“Your Majesty, is there something wrong?”

As the new prime minister, Marquess Curtis felt that helping to lighten Raoul's burden was one of his duties. Raoul did look at him after he asked. But not long after, Raoul's head drooped again, as if the man had given up on what was on his mind.

“Are you thinking about Lady Ariana, Your Majesty?”
