Pishka. Your typical sad and a little depressed, South African girl, moves to America. She has to adapt to this ghost town she moved into. Being a loner should be the worst-case scenario, right? No! Things only get worse when she meets this guy who keeps appearing at the school gate every day after school. 

Jacob. Your typical nice guy. His past life is literally not sunshine and rainbows. Waiting eight years just to find his mate and mind you he has no idea what gender they are. But now he found 'her'... Not for long, since he has to deal with his "past life's" karma. He also needs to find a way to patch things up with his mate and protect his pack from 'Red'

Something ominous is approaching the ghost town and cannot be altered due to the writings of fate. It's purpose can't be changed but it's course can be. More truths are told, allowing a red sting to show its ugly head. But Death can be such a romance wrecker, ask Romeo and Juliet they can tell you that bit for sure.

If you take offence, drop the book, cause we all have our traumas. Some of us have become numb to it, so we tend to not show concern when others experience the same thing or are more expressive - it's a defence mechanism, okay!

Her Cold Beast And His Dark Beauty

When we come back to the mother and son brawl, we see the woman cradling the child from earlier. Her body trembles as she sniffles, Lucien walks up to her from behind. He walks around her to see what she's doing, she's eating the intestines of her son. She's crying while doing so, Lucien squats to get a better view. He looks at his friend whose face is one that's paralyzed in shock. Blood trails from his mouth and nose to show how brutally he died. He brushes the boy's hair back. The mother glares at Lucien who smiles at her evilly. The woman and Lucien are the only two people left alive, in this sea of blood and corpses. Lucien smirks as he mocks her 


Lucien: I didn't force you to kill him... I only told you to choose which one of you would willingly allow themselves to be devoured by the other. I would spare the winner's life and you are the lucky winner!
