The barn was packed with people, the spirit was already high- the fumes of beer and whisky lingering around the folks. Cian took a hold of my hand, I was grateful; there was so many, we’d be sure to lose one another if we didn’t hang on to each other. The music vibrated in the walls and floor; it made my body itch in a good way. Cian looked back at me with a big smile on his face, “Now this, this is a proper ceilidh!” He towed me through the masses, it had to be close to 500 in the big barn. We reached the wall on the other side, where some teens were handing out drinks. Cian raised an eyebrow and I nodded, “A Whisky and a beer, please.” In no time he had the drinks, and I looked around after a place to sit. I spotted Graham and Sean at a table and nodded towards it.
