SEA YOU

I'm here again at the coffee shop 3 blocks away from our company. I'm carrying the manuscript I'm reviewing. While I was eating, I received a call from Ethan so I left my things where I was sitting and went out. 


[It turns out that our stag party has been postponed today because there is a book signing that Aly should attend I needed to accompany her. I bet you are busy reviewing the manuscript. I'll tell you again when I can.] When he informed me, I grinned. 


"No worries, Lei," I responded and hung up on him. 


I was about to go inside when Tristian suddenly pulled me and I was surprised by his appearance. "What are you doing here?" 


"Can you come with me? It's been a long time since we've been able to bond. Even just now, please..." he begged me. I know we will watch a movie. 


"Just wait, I'll just get my stuff inside," I responded and entered the coffee shop. Before I could get close to my table, I saw a woman holding the manuscript, so I immediately approached her and took it. 


My eyes rolled because she was the woman yesterday who grabbed my seat. "Why are you messing with my stuff?!" I asked her angrily. 


"Where did that come from?" she asked me gently. 


"It's none of your business" I was in agony and was about to get my stuff when she stopped me. "What?!" I shouted at her so the other people in the coffee shop looked at us while muttering. 


I sighed, took all my things, and hurried out of the coffee shop. I was about to enter my cousin Tristian's car when someone grabbed my arm. My eyes widened when I saw that the woman followed me but she was already crying. 


"My Kiro, the man I adore. Kiro Leonelle Gutierrez, the man behind my inspiration the reason why I started writing this novel," she said sobbing. 


I was about to drop the manuscript when he suddenly grabbed the hand that was holding it. Why does she know that? As far as I remember, she was on the cover page when I saw him holding the manuscript. 


"How did you know about this?" I asked her with raised eyebrows. She looked away from me so I was confused. 


"Why, I also have a copy of the book at home. Maybe you want it? I'll give it to you for free." She said smiling while showing me the book. The book is very old, it looks like it came from the year that the manuscript published into book. 


"You're weird." I grinned. "I'm the one holding the original manuscript now, why should I take the book you're holding? Are you stupid?" 


"Don't underestimate me. I'm with someone right now, she's the owner of the book I'm holding. You just don't know it, but she's crying right now next to me." She said seriously so I just laughed. 


"Weirdo girl." I just shook my head and got into Tristian's car. The woman couldn't even stop me so we left.
