[Book One in The Foreign Prince Trilogy]

Crown Prince Theo Veles of Aegia has no desire to be on the throne- or, more precisely, he is not desired to be on the throne. Gravely ill, Theo spends his days in bed, eating nothing but soup and reading the same books over and over again, with no one but his servant checking up on him. He is due to die in a week. 

On the night Theo is expected to die, he escapes the castle through his bedroom window with the help of a rather friendly spy from the nearby kingdom of Chidora and finds himself in the world beyond the castle gates he never thought he would see. 

But life is not easy for a prince, especially when you've been told the parents who have raised you aren't your actual parents. And you're actively being hunted by bounty hunters who claim there is a million quon bounty on your head. 

With the help of the spy and a chance meeting with one of the most talented spearmen the continent of lserin has to offer, Theo embarks on a quest that involves perilous danger, heartwarming friendship, and truths about the two he travels with that may be more shocking than his own past.

The Foreign Crown

Iserin was once a large land mass known as Ivonor. There were only three kingdoms then: Eocretika, Drofeathan, and Taellaver. Each kingdom had its own strengths and housed a different species of Dracecean. 


Eocretika was home to seven bloodlines of elemental users known as Esmon. Drofeathan boasted the four bloodlines of vampires known as Verinen. And, Taellaver was where five bloodlines of Keiju, or elves, resided. 


All bloodlines within a species lived peacefully but were hostile to the other species not of their bloodline. While all the bloodlines fought in the beginning, as the Verinen began to see their species suffer severe casualties, they retreated underground, and let the Keiju and Esmon fight with one another, to which one side was no stronger or superior in any way over the other. Every hour of the day, and every minute of the night, Dracecean blood stained the ground, rivers, and sky red, and soon there were little to no Esmon or Keiju left.
