All humans have something in common. Even amongst their differences, the desire to feel complete is one that we all share. Each individual is the main character in their own indefinite story written by innumerable authors. So it is safe to assume that nobody is unfamiliar with the story of a boy who's entire life has been built on lies, only to have Fate uncover a sliver of his tantalising truth and change his life forever.

Dwayne Daniels is blessed with tremendous amounts of power and must traverse amongst supernatural beings called Agnii, which he is himself, to find the missing piece in his life. The catch, however, is that what he seeks must be either colluded with or completely destroyed, nothing in between. Which side will he take? What lengths must he go to achieve his goal?

After Himawari took Angel to the infirmary, Dwayne was left to mingle with the other students who now stood around the circular ring. Many of them gave him strange glances that only intensified when he could not provide a reason for their teacher's sudden need for medical attention. The class president quickly collected himself and took roll call. 


“Present,” squealed a girl with pale orange hair. 


“. . .Here,” answered a gruff voice from amongst the students. 


“Uh–huh,” answered the girl with sapphire blue eyes and a black ribbons tied in her snow white hair. She stood beside Dwayne and when she caught him staring at her, he quickly averted his gaze. 


“Present,” called a soft voice in response. 


“I'm present,” murmured the class president as he added a tick next to his name, “Karlea Crúden.” 


“Absent,” called her cousin Kaeil Crúden who was marked present.
