Chapter Sixteen: Violence is One Answer (Engelard)

Let's just find a vehicle and get this over with.

Engelard sharpens the tip of yet another arrow, while Nicholas, Kasumi, and the three Finnish soldiers restock their supplies in Schlieren. He spent little time repacking: food, water, and a few tools to assist in repairing or refining his arrows and bow. He preferred to travel lightly, being an archer, where swift movement and sharp reflexes were his priority.

The rumblings of the ground from the bombs grew more frequent, the sky became a hazier shade of gray, and the smell of gunpowder and ash only grew stronger with each passing night.

And it appeared the group was no closer to getting to Fribourg. Nicholas admitted, stopping in Schlieren extended their walking trip back to thirty hours, which was the same amount of time it took when the Russland suicide bombers entered the camp two nights ago.
