Leon and Engelard have worked side-by-side for as long as they can remember. Leon, a former knight, specializes in assassinations, while his best friend, Engelard, is an archer who makes deals with citizens and kills those who do not repay his generosity.

But when their country of Schweiz finds itself the target of a war, Leon and Engelard must combine forces with four unlikely people to end the war before it completely destroys the country.

An Army General who is called a coward by many but has underlying reasons for his cautious and hesitant actions and orders.

A young boy who swears to get revenge on one person at any cost.

An ice skater from Japan just looking to expand her audience and increase her fame.

And a king who left his kingdom and wishes to bring it back to its former glory.

For they are the angels who will save the forsaken world.

Angels of the Forsaken

Felix can hear nothing but his gun firing as he tries to reach Reko, who stares at him from beside Grayson and Thilo who are just unstable blurs in his eyes as the general also attempts to defend himself from his own soldiers that were somehow corrupted into turning against him. 


Periodically, he can catch the yells of Leon and Engelard as they cut down and shoot the enemies in their way, while also trying to reach Felix. He does not worry about Kasumi and Nicholas as much as he does himself, Reko, Leon, and Engelard, as he knows the girl is safe scouting the perimeter on her skates, while the king is most likely busy summoning flowers and slitting the throats of any wandering hostile soldiers that fall for his seduction. 


Finally, as the last few soldiers fall to the ground with grave wounds and cries of pain, Felix begins to approach Reko. Leon and Engelard follow several feet behind him, the former focusing on Thilo, while the latter on Grayson.
