Chapter 4 : Beginning my first mission

'My first mission is not that bad' I thought and looked around the forest.

I was just looking at the beautiful green lush forest which is full of normal monsters. I felt a little at the sight I was looking at.

'It's quite nice to see that there's no war here' I was feeling really happy about the thought of peace.

'But I have to maintain it' I immediately made my body into paper and scattered my body to different places.

I looked all over the forest and saw that some hunters were just minding their business. They were either hunting, resting, or eating.

'I have to find information about it or someone will be hurt' I was doing my best to cover as much as I can, but the lush forest was just too big.

One of my paper origami's noticed a huge 100 feet black cobra snake it was hiding in a cave sleeping soundly. It was using illusionary skill, but anyone could see it as it had a huge size.

'Is this the supposed to be The Undying Snake?" I looked at it more to analyze if anything was wrong with it.

There was nothing wrong with it and it was just sleeping in the cave. It was sleeping in a circle position and no one was near it on a 10 km range and that was the weirdest part of all.

'The size is huge yet there is not a single monster to be found near it' I looked around more and saw that the black cobra was not realising any killing intent at all.

'Maybe it's pregnant?' I could not help but think that way as I could not find a reason for it to be sleeping this long. 'No, its stomach is just normal'

The black cobra was like the protector of the forest and never let any type of S-rank monster enter its territory. It was letting humans get in its territory, but in exchange, they pay him monster core every month.

'Why would it let another S-rank enter?' I went near it more to analyze it.

Its eye's suddenly opened and I backed away in surprise. I looked at it more and saw that its black eyes were covered in blood.

"I-is it dead?" I muttered under my breath.

I looked at it more and saw that it was dead, I opened my rinnegan and saw that the reason for death was overflowing with poison in its mouth.

'What do I do now?' I opened its mouth slightly and purple poison came out of it.

I backed away and the purple poison-like acid was melting the inside of its body and the acid was starting to melt the spot where the acid landed.

'S-should I put it on a sealing paper?'

I was a little confused about what to do with the S-rank black cobra and what to report about the situation.

'Do I just say the black cobra died from its poison?' I was in distress about what to do next.

'will anyone even believe me? well, I found it' I immediately chopped its body apart and separated its body parts using my paper and put its body into a sealing paper. 'I should make a weapon with its scale'

I transformed back to paper origami and went to the DIB to report on what happened to the black cobra.

'If I report this then the entire forest would be free to take by anyone' I stopped mid-flight and thought about what would happen if I tell this to anyone.

'If I tell them this then all the guilds and the government would go to war I was thinking of a way to stop all the problems all at once without anyone dying.

If I take the land for myself then I would declare myself as independent and the government and all the other people who want to take this forest would attack me.

I only had one available option to hide this information and become strong enough to protect this lush green forest that is full of monsters.

'Let's try to take any monster I can find' I was planning to tame a high-level beast as my pet.

I also like cute things. I wasn't a cat or dog.

I looked around the forest and there were many C-rank to A-rank monster's around me, but not Special S-rank monsters.

'I should not have expected much. Most in the forest are A-rank monsters' I did not expect much anymore at this point.

You can only find S-rank monster's in the upper world only so few people know about this world. already knew about the Upper, Middle and Lower worlds, Because of my rinnegan. These are all the worlds that I currently know of.

'There isn't anything special in this forest'

I looked around more and went to a small lake where the monster's come to drink water. I stepped on the water and walked around it, and danced in the middle of the lake. There were no monsters or people that could see me as I was in the middle of the lake.

'Yahiko if only you were here to dance with me.'

I span around the middle of the lake and danced like it was the end of the world and a tear came out of my right eye. I just ignored it and just danced more like a ballerina, and cried out of sadness that one of my family died because of me.

I let go of all the pain in my heart and felt happy that I was free from all the problems in the world at this mommet and was free like a soaring bird in the sky.

As I danced around the huge lake I did not even notice that I was creating a world pool on my feet I span and span more until a water tornado was shot below me and all my tears were swept away by the water.

'I just want to sleep.' I was tired of living and just wanted to sleep forever.

I was falling from the middle of the lake and did not even try to swim up. I just accepted it and just let go of all my thoughts.

'Did you think I am that weak?' I screamed in my head and opened my eyes.

I opened my wings and flung both my white wings. The force of my white wing's created a small tsunami and removed most of the water and right after the lake regenerated back to normal.

"You are the S-rank monster aren't you? The Sorrowful Water Saintess" I fly in the air and saw the Sorrowful Water Saintess.

She was a spirit that looked like a blue-tailed mermaid with her water covered with water to look like water tentacles. She had blue long hair that looked like the calm sea and blue eyes that looked like the raging and judging sea that would swallow everything.

"You will be a tasty one" The Sorrowful Water Saintess made a cruel smile.
