Staunch Chapter 2 - The WAR Prat 2

*The Next Day*

*chirps & whistles* "The birds in the neighborhood seems to be enjoying the summery weather we're having today. It will be a waste if I didn't meet up with the guy's today." I thought to myself as I cleaned the Swedish M1941. *Ring-Ring* the blaring noise of my phone snapped me out of my cogitation, as I reached for my phone I noticed that it is Nigle calling me.

"Hey what's up?" I said to Nigle as I answered the phone, "hey nothing much, Williams just called and asked if you and I can meet him at John's coffee shop, opposite the cinema" Nigle responded. "Sure that's no problem I'll met you guy's at John's in 30 minutes". I said as I ended the call.

*30 Minutes Later outside of John's coffee shop entrance*

*Chattering In The Distance* The sounds of people chatting from across the street at the entrance of the cinema can be heard as I stood outside of John's coffee shop. I dialed Nigle cellphone due to him running late along with Williams.

"Hey Nigle, I'm outside of John's waiting on you and Williams, how long will it be until you arrive?"I queried. "I'm right around the bend, you'll see me in couple if seconds" said Nigle as he ended the call.

*Hey man, what's up?"said Nigle as he approached me outside of the coffee shop."Nothing much I've been waiting on you guys a little while now" I remarked. "Sorry about that, I got a little held back in traffic while I was traveling in the taxi, I even decided to let the taxi driver drop me off, a little ways down the street because of the unnecessary held up at the junction." Nigle respond as we made our way into the coffee shop.

"I wonder why Williams haven't arrived as yet" I asked Nigle. "He's most likely stuck in traffic as well nothing to worry about" Nigle rejoinder in the process of placing his order for a Ice coffee.

Nigle and I both sat at the coner of John's coffee shop, next to a window overlooking the busy streets while we waited on Nigles Ice coffee. During the time that we waited we both peer out the window in hopes of spotting Williams, That's when Nigle noticed a group of five guys standing outside of the cinema glaring at us through the window. "Isn't thoes guys from the 21st street gang what are they doing on this side of the valley Nigle exclaimed". "I'm getting a horrible impression about this situation" I said furiously at Nigle. "Do you have your snub nose on you?" Nigle whispered. "Yes I do, let's head inside the washroom area so I can take the safety off" I replied quietly.

Just as Nigle and I, was about to make our way over to the bathroom we hear the powerful voice of John, announcing that Nigles Ice coffee was ready for consumption. Nigle swiftly walked over and collected his beverage and hurriedly made his way into the bathroom along side me, and immediately dumped his drink into the toilet trash bin.

I proceeded to raise my hoodie upwards revealing the snubbed nose revolver tucked onto my hip. As I tugged the revolver off of my hip, I immediately took the safety off and peeped through a gap in between the bathroom entrance door and the wall. "Hey I also have my revolver but I've only got two bullets remaining since I got trigger happy during the hiest, do you have any extra bullets that you can give me?" Nigle pleaded. "I've got 4 extra .38s on me I can give you 3 and keep 1 extra bullet for myself, if that's okay with you" I said to Nigle as I quickly handed him the bullets.

*Click-Click-Click* the sounds of bullets being loaded into Nigles revolver as I peep through the gap in the bathroom door, I saw that 2 of the 5 guys from the 21st street gang came into the coffee shop 1 of the guys were in his late teens while the other guy seemed to he in his ealry 30s they walked calmly to the register and told John that they are looking for Nigle and I that they were supposed to meet us here for a business transaction, John pointed over to the bathroom and said "the guys just went to take a leak, you guys can take a seat and wait for them by the mean while." The older individual smiled and said that won't be necessary as he began to walk over to the bathroom door.

I noticed that the older individual, gun holster was showing on his hip so I knew right away that he wasn't playing around. I jumped back from the door calmly cocked the hammer back on my revolver and aimed at head level. "What the fuck are you doing" Nigle exclaimed. "Hush and get down, aim for the door and only shoot once at the guy who's about to come in" I frantically explain to Nigle. "UGH OKAY" Nigle said as he aimed for the door.

In the act of opening the bathroom door, a high-pitched squeaking sound from the door rusty hinges filled the room with two loud explosions following momentarily after, as the older individual fell to the floor he screamed out in agony, the young lad who accompanied the older individual panic and rushed into the bathroom drawing out a pistol of his own, before he properly aimed it at me Nigle shot at him, the bullet zipping past my head at tremendous speed striking him in his left eye, blood splatter everywhere as the young lad fell to the floor never to breath again.

Shrieks fill the entirety of the coffee shop as people began pushing and shoving their way to the exit. "We've got to get out of here now" Nigle Exclaimed. I nodded my head in agreement with Nigle as I stood over the 2 people we've just brutally murdered, part of me was scared as I stared at the corps of the now deceased but I felt joy in the deepest parts of my soul that it wasn't me laying on that floor ears less.

"Hey come on let us go now!" Nigle shouted at me as we dashed out of the store blending into the crowd of scared customers we kept our heads down. Nigles took me by the hand and guided me to a narrow alleyway leading behind several businesses and streets. As we entered through the dirty mossy alleyways I began to vomit from the shared horror and anxiety I just experienced Nigle also began to gage but managed to kept his down. "What should we do now" I frantically asked Nigle as we dragged ourselves into a cross section behind the alleyway. "Let's call Williams and arrange for hi-m h-I'm". Said Nigle as blood began to pour from his upper chest as he fell to the ground. "NI-NI-NIGLE!!!" *I SCREAMED as i fell to ground trying to stop the bleeding in Nigles chest* as several shots rang out hitting the ground and walls surrounding me.

As I aimed my pistol at a masked figure wearing a dobberman type mask. I fired all my remaining shots at the mask man in a fit of rage, grazing him on the cheek of the mask. The bloke then decided to flee as he ran as swift as a deer through the alleyways. I gathered myself back to my feet as I stand over Nigles body and loaded in my spear bullet into my revolver I then proceeded to take Nigles revolver off of him as well. I swear to him, I was going to find the mask coward and skin him alive for what he'd done. As I continued to drag myself through the alleyway I called Boss and explain him the situation. " continue to walk down a couple of blocks through the alleyway you'll see a back entrance to a Bar name ragnarock knock on the door 3 times a red head girl will answer tell her that your staunch she'll keep you out of sight until I arrive in 40 minutes, until then keep safe My blood.
