It is very seldom that a mermaid is born during a full moon. So it was believed that Yurena would bring misfortune to her race. One day, an oil spill from an oil tanker spread all over the ocean and killed many mermaids and other sea creatures. This event can be considered a catastrophe and is called a bad omen or misfortune brought by Yurena according to their old belief. 

Yurena was blamed for that incident and their race united to send her to earth to retaliate and kill the man who owned the ship who spread the chemical in their home under the sea. Here, she will meet the handsome billionaire Mao Ferragamo and fall in love with him. 

This will bring confusion in Yurena's mind, what is more important? Her mission or her happiness?

What she found out made Maxine so angry that she couldn't stop herself from confronting Mao about it. She would never accept that Mao was dating another woman! And even more she did not accept that the woman was Yurena!

"So that's the kind of girl you like? I wish you'd told me right away so I could wear weird clothes and mismatched shoes with different brands. I will transform myself into a weird fashion model so that I can capture your attention. In that way, maybe you'll like me too," Maxine said, who couldn't hide her annoyance.  She was obviously jealous because Mao Ferragamo's attention was divided into other things.

She felt that Mao ignored her and worst the man is not even interested in her because he kept looking for other girls.

"Max, what are you angry about? I met with Yurena because I was interested in her paintings and I also wanted to give her an opportunity," Mao replied, explaining his side.
