Chapter 10; Who is she?

"Who is she?" Zhan Hong scurried his footsteps trying to approach the bed but Mu Zhu was way faster than him and blocked him from proceeding any further and thus he couldn't see her face.

"Mu Shen, you are hiding a woman in here?" Zhan Hong exclaimed loudly, but Mu Zhu dragged him out before Zhou Meili could wake up.

Mu Shen closed the door behind him before they went down to the study room.

The female doctor understood why she was summoned and immediately began her procedure but suddenly Zhou Meili was awakened by the sudden tickling.

She was startled to see a woman undressing her, "wh.at.. what.. what are you doing?" She sat up immediately while she stuttered.

"I need to examine you Miss so do bear with me." The female doctor was tough as her face was forbearing and scary.

"But I'm not sick.." she mumbled nervously as she tugged her clothes and covers to cover herself.

"You know where.. so let me see, you might develop a serious problem if there's an issue and it isn't attended to earlier or treated sooner.." she explained her actions when she realized Zhou Meili couldn't easily let her examine her.

Zhou Meili felt shy and uncomfortable but she had to let her examine her in case there was any problem.

In the study room, Mu Shen settled down on his chair and pulled a table drawer open, picking up a cigar with a lighter.

He lit his cigar before he began playing with it, he suddenly stood up and walked to the terrace that interfaced with the garden, it had a good sight of blooming flowers.

"Why did you do that last night?" His voice was cold and raw, not only did he set him up but another person was antagonized.

"Wh..at... What did I do?" Zhan Hong stammered as he began sweating from the palms to his entire body while flinching on the couch nervously.

"You knew doing that I will recognize it was you at the end of the day because of the CCTV cameras, so why did you do that? Why did you drug my drinks?" His voice turned low and dangerous, you could hear a threatening tone intertwined between his words.

"I don't know what you are talking about... I didn't do anything!" He uprightly rebuked his claims, he couldn't accept it was he who played that dirty joke.

" Zhan Hong, I have always seen you as my friend, but I feel disappointed. " He flushed the cigar before exiting the study room, leaving him with Mu Zhu.

He went upstairs back to the bedroom and saw the doctor was already done checking her, " any problem? " He walked to the couch and sat down while eying the woman who was covered up.

" Nothing major, just some inflammation, I have prescribed some cream that will help her out and also the painkillers.. have a wonderful evening Master Mu.. " she bowed her head before exiting the bedroom.

"Mnnhh.." he just hummed before walking to the bed and glancing at the woman who was laying on the bed.

"I have an emergency, so I'm taking a trip for a few days... I will be back." He walked into the bathroom and freshened up before changing into simple khaki pants and a polo shirt and also carrying a heavy jacket.

Zhou Meili just watched as he walked away leaving her all alone in the big mansion.

Down in the study room, Zhan Hong and Mu Zhu kept busy with their stuff while the female doctor sat down in the living room taking tea.

He walked down the stairs and went into the study room, "Zhan Hong, I want you to send the prescribed medicine here and be given to Butler Lu... Mu Zhu, is everything cleared?" He picked up a cup and brewed tea that was already served.

"Yes, the flight will take off at eleven pm, so we need to check in to the airport soon." Mu Zhu scrolled through the tablet while he responded.

"Mu Shen you have a private jet, why don't you use it?" Zhan Hong inquired curiously.

Mu Shen just gazed at him before he turned around without giving him any answer.

"Let's go, and also inform the shadow guards, no one should enter in here during my absence.. any intruders should be shot down." He exited the living room and went down to the parking lot while the female doctor and Zhan Hong tagged behind him silently.

"You will bill the payments in the Mu Hospital as a private service, the accountant will release the funds. " He opened the door and got inside while the chauffeur was already sitting in the driver's seat.

" Goodbye Master Mu.." they politely bowed bidding him goodbye before getting into their car and driving away from the Mu Mansion.

Mu Zhu was left behind to give clear instructions to everyone before he joined him at the car.

It was a black low-key Mercedes Benz but the inside was very cozy and had a personal touch to it, it was warm and comfortable.

"Master Mu, your phone has been ringing for so long now.." Mu Zhu buckled his safety belt before passing the mobile phone to him.

He glanced at the screen and saw it was Mu Rong calling, he just switched the phone off.

"Tell them I'm traveling, they can call me once I'm back." He leaned back onto the seat and closed his eyes to rest.

Mu Zhu sneakily glanced at him, even though the lights inside the car were a bit dim, he could still see him frowning.

The car engine roared as the chauffeur drove the car out of the Mu Mansion.

In the Lake View Villa, Mu Rong was getting more worried and agitated because he had to get permission from his uncle to use company resources for his own private business.
