Time dimension

When the dragging force stopped, Ning Qi finds himself in a place where nothing can be seen, nor can be touched, or heard. He wants to shift his eyes but is unable to perform anything, except for staring into the deep darkness.

He thought that he was here to learn some dark laws, or else why would he be here?

"System! What's happening here? What should I do now? I'm incapable to move nor am I able to perceive anything at all. " Ning Qi directly spread his thoughts to the system, as it is the sole thing he can do at the moment.

"Ding! The host doesn't need to panic, and this is a dimension where the time is practically at the 'stationary' point. As the system forcefully added the affinity to host, the host needs to feel the time laws at its strongest to get any useful ability."

System explained to Ning Qi, making Ning Qi finally feel relief, as it is dreadful to be in this place without anyone accompanying him.

He decided to give it a shot and started to explore the space around him with his mind, stopping the struggle to move around.

Ning Qi doesn't know how much time has passed, once he started feeling the time laws, he felt quite intimate with them. He gradually started learning their properties and how to manipulate them.

"So! Time is not stateless, then If I'm staying here means, at some point in the future, It will still move to a certain point and will exist there. Then isn't it the same as me being able to meet myself If can locate that certain dimension at that particular time? "

Ning Qi thought to himself quite confused, from the time laws he felt. They are exactly like an endless river that kept flowing through dimension after dimension.

"Is that same as me in another dimension or an altogether different person? " Ning Qi thought, as he thought more and more, he felt his head may go crazy with such thoughts.

He wants to find out whether every dimension has someone like him or if all other dimensions are just static to maintain the state of time.

"No! I'm considering it a bit too much! But from what I have got so far, Time is not stateless. It flows continuously through many dimensions. The current me will be carried to a certain dimension at a certain point in this time river. But I'm not getting anything else from the laws, probably needs more affinity with them." Ning Qi thought for a moment.

He wanted to discover what will comprise the state of time in other dimensions.

He wants to know whether there is any completely other 'him' in that dimension or whether wherever he is in, will become that current dimension. He decided to add the remaining 2 stats to his time affinity.

"System! Add the 2 stats to my time affinity." Ning Qi commanded.

"Ding! 2 special stats have been successfully added to the host time affinity. " System voice sounded.

Ning Qi felt that his sense towards the time laws got increased by quite a bit. He tried prying into the other dimension but got rejected back again. Ning Qi felt awkward, as the law was quite close to him, before ruthlessly rejecting him, as quickly as he approached something that is out of his boundary.

"Hm! Nevermind... But what do I implement now? " Ning Qi thought, as he felt he can do nothing else. He again started moving in hope of being able to move.

To his surprise, he can move slowly. Once he moved, he knows he traveled around 2 meters instantly. He tried controlling the time law accordingly and change the state of his body to the place where it is around 10 meters away from his place.

"Let me try! If I can manipulate a bit, I will be capable to apply the law a bit and can travel to that point at 10 meters in the future instantly right?" Ning Qi considered a bit.

He slowly felt the abundant time laws around him, and he tried to manipulate them but felt much resistance. He slowly and patiently tried, as though poaching a child.

Once everything is completed and the time laws around him are applied, he didn't budge a bit from where he was. He didn't perceive what was happening and doesn't know what else to do.

"Ding! The host should try applying your understanding to an object, as your understanding of the laws of time is quite shallow at the moment. The host is incapable to let a biological organism shift its position to another state through dimensional transfer. " System suggested making Ning Qi realize and know he is expecting a bit too much.

He explored his pockets for something that he can use in this god dam**ed place, where he cannot find anything else, except himself. If he couldn't find anything, he would probably have to remove his clothes and use them.

But luckily he acquired a chocolate that he snuck into his pocket for 'future' uses when Kang Jia bought him some, last Sunday.

He again slowly applied the time laws around him, to that chocolate, and this time, he concentrated the area to around 30 meters. He slowly tossed that forward without using any force.

But the next moment, It disappeared from the spot and appeared at the 30-meter spot exactly where he concentrated.

"Yay!!" Ning Qi cheered to celebrate his success. But he felt he needed to train in this a bit more to be able to apply the laws to objects seamlessly without having to fully concentrate every time. He wants it to be able to manipulate seamlessly, at least for the objects.

"System! Can you provide me with some random objects? I want to practice my control of the laws a bit more. " Ning Qi asked to try his luck, as the system won't typically provide this kind of thing unless it is something effective to Sect.

"Ding! Access is granted to the host, and the Host just needs to think, and you will get the object in your hand. " System responded.

"Hm! Is the system operating the identical law as me and transferring the objects from somewhere to here or it is directly transferring from its storage? " Ning Qi thought, but he didn't receive any response from the system. Ning Qi merely shrugged and started practicing his control over the time law.

He doesn't know how long he spent, as he never felt any hunger or tiredness in this place.

"Finally! Damn... Presently I can manage it as easily as moving my hands. But the range is kinda limited to around 100 meters, but that's relatively satisfactory already." Ning Qi said to himself.

"System! When can I go back? Also, How much time has passed? We still have to go to matches. " Ning Qi asked, as he felt he may have stayed here for a long time.

"Ding! The host spent 27 days practicing here, but the host doesn't need to worry, as the time in the Host world has only passed for 27 minutes. " System said, making Ning Qi exclaim, as he didn't feel the passage of that much time. But he felt relieved to find out that he was only 27 minutes away from there.

"Ding! Transferring back to the world. " system voice sounded again, and again Ning QI felt that certain force dragging him away.

Ning Qi gradually opened his eyes and saw that only Nangong Xu was there, who intently concentrated on his cultivation. But Ning Qi still felt that he should be a bit more careful when he uses affinity stats in the future.

"Ding! Congratulations to the Host for comprehending a new ability based on time law. Please check the panel for more information. " System voice sounded again, making Ning Qi hurriedly check the panel.
